    Fasting pre and post chemo

MHP, I'm holding you close in my heart and mind as always. Hope all goes well today or went?? I always get confused about our time difference.

NS, Those long rides home are killer. Try to stop and walk around every couple of hours. I'm sure your pup makes that necessary too!

      Hi MHP,

Good luck with the chemo, hope it is ok as it can be.

Sorry I have not checked in much lately to say hello. Usual story of life getting in the way and I don't always have access to my laptop.

But, I hope you know that you are often in my thoughts and my admiration for your attitude to this crappy card life has dealt you only grows.

      Love

      Caro

P.S Hi to everybody else on this thread too, especially the fount of all knowledge NS

Love it! made my day and like Ginge said, make sure you get out and walk on that trip.

Just sneaking an extra half an hour in bed before I get going..and yeah Ginger I get confused too with the times. I forget where everyone is from half the time der...:H

Great to see you any time Caro. I really appreciate everyone's thoughts especially on chemo days, it makes it all very easy xx

                Hello, Friends.

I got home yesterday and am pretty much back to "real life" although I still need to go to the co-op and stock up on some good food. Glad you're safely home, too, Ginger.

Happy, how great that your treatment went smoothly! Perhaps you'll be fortunate and the rest of them will be the same. I hope so!

C'mom, SL, and join the yoga band wagon!! I bought a fancy new mat on my trip -- guaranteed not to rip or have "chunks" ripped out of it. I'll be giving it a try tomorrow morning.

Morning everyone! first day of spring here. And the weather is just glorious. I'm on the back deck having a cup of tea. Animals all around. It's pretty good.

Was laughing about your yoga mat NS. I can honestly say that while I've got a few mats, my cats seem to stick their claws into every one! either when I'm practicing or when its rolled up. Give me a cat proof mat!

I'm laying low, the dex is making me shake quite a bit. Going to stop pushing quite so much and just take a breather. Cancelling all plans to teach this year and will just see how it pans out next year. So no committent! feels weird.

Seems good that you are taking things easy Happy, sorry for the shakes, that must be frustrating. Try to enjoy the lack if commitment and really enjoy your spring - love that time of year! Are you seeing wild animals from your deck or is it pets keeping you company?
Putting yoga on back burner here - really want to go to a studio to learn how to do it properly before trying on my own. I take call 40% of the time and everyone I speak to is reluctant for me to have my phone - will continue to look into things, but in the meantime my oldest daughter has talked me into a 9week running class so will see how that goes!
Ginger - I believe today is 120 days for you - very well done!

SL, You take call 40% of the time and everyone is reluctant to let you have your phone. What does that mean? I think I must have missed something. Yes, today is 120 for me!

Yeah - well done for sticking to it!
Sorry Ginger, I take call for work 24 hrs a day for a week at a time and usually every other week. The yoga studios don't want me to take calls, texts etc - which I totally understand - during sessions...I am pretty good about being very quiet on call and exiting quietly, but they prefer no disruption....makes sense with what yoga is all about...it only leaves me every other week which gives me less flexibility - I am trying not to make this an excuse, and maybe it is a bit - but one day I will get there...(to yoga that is)
