Since I haven't had a drink since July 9th (I can't believe I'm starting day 15), I'm really starting to see the benefits of sobriety. For me, the short list:
-waking up clear & guilt/shame free.
-sleeping more deeply (not shallowly & erratically).
-remembering what I do & say.
-getting more physical exercise.
-lowering my blood pressure.
-using my money for positive things.
Can anyone add to the list? It doesn't matter how much AF or Mod days you have.
