Welcome H2O this is a good place to be. Your story sounds a lot like mine , except my choice is wine. Still trying to moderate. I've gotten better. I love coming to MWO and reading the posts. It helps me realize I'm not alone. Read the book and keep on reading and posting for support.

This is my first post. I've been reading through the information, downloaded the book (but haven't read it yet) and received the Kudzu (but haven't tried it yet). The common thread seems to be make a plan. I'm up this AM 4:15 to have quiet time to read this.
I wish you great success. I've probably been drinking for 35 years too.

Welcome to both of you. When I joined on here and someone told me to read all I could starting with the book. I was disappointed. I wanted a quick solution.

But reading the book and the posts on here has made a big difference to my life. There is so much practical advice and emotional support.

So Now I give the same advice I got.
