      Hey Beano,

      Congratulations on your 4th day sober!!!

      If you get weak go back and read your first post. That will help you remember how miserable you were. I sure could relate to it. We forget so soon when we want a drink. The beast comes up with all sorts of excuses doesn't it? And the stupid part is we believe what it says to us.

      I'm on day 7 and the first few days were the worse in that I had problems sleeping. Fortunately for me I had my folks here for the first 6 days so since I'm a closet drunk (not that they don't know about my problem), I wouldn't drink while they were here. They are my saviours. But this time I have to keep away from the wine. No more "I can just have a small bottle to get the edge off" or "I don't have to drink the whole thing". And let me tell you as much as I love my folks, they can drive a person to drink! LOL!!!

      Hang in there, you can do it!

        Hi everyone, i have never posted on this thread but have enjoyed reading it, i am starting to do what beano did, getting nervous about making it through day 3, as that is as far as I've ever gotten, it sounds like this is a common time to panic, it is only morning here and i am already dreading the supper hour, help! p
