I'm using Asics right now, but I need a new pair so I might change.. don't kow yet.
The program I am on is similar, warm up 5 minutes by walking, then run 1 minute, walk 2 minutes, do that 8 times, then cool down 5 minutes by walking. Over the next 26 sessions you increase the running ..so in the end you are running 10 minutes, walking 1 minute, do that 6 times or so.. it's for a 10K program.
Congrats on running 5K !! I am no where near that yet.. but I'll get there !!! When the weather get's to cold, I have a good threadmill so I'll be jumping on that.
I don't have a Nano, I have a Cowan A2 which is to big for jogging..but a great unit. Just got a pair of Ultimate Ears, Super Fi 5 Pro.. nice sound !!.
BTW, I play Bass as well, have been for 22 years.. play mostly rock, favourite bands are Rush, ACDC, Queensryche, Marillion etc.. Also like lounge like Supper Club, Morcheeba etc..I like everything, except country music, can't get into that one.
