Today I am going to see my sister (and fellow wine drinking buddy). There's no way of avoiding this visit because I'm moving my daughter into her dorm room and my sister lives in that college town. I am dreading this visit because I know the wine is going to be opened. She doesn't know I'm trying to quit. I want to tell her but not until I have success for a few months. It's been a week since I've had wine. Yeah, I've cheated by having two beers a day but I figure it's better than passing out from 2 bottles of wine. "Baby Steps" as they say in the movie What About Bob?. I am going to try to only have 2 glasses of wine. On Sunday I will be starting my total abstinance attempt. Probably won't visit this site until I get home.
