    Starting over pray for me

    It's late but one last post. I am going to start again tomorrow have not been AF scince I found you all. But went 10 day's just before I got here.So I know I can do it It has been a horrible week for me but would have been alot worse without you. Tonight was particulary though, I drank but if I had not spent all these hours here I would be s#%tfaced right now. I guess it is hard to hold a beer if you are typing! So think of me. Pray for me. Type to me. I need all the help I can get. Right now you guy's and girls are all I have!!!

    Your spelling really ani't all taht bad!

    Keep going into chat when it gets tough. Ride it out. And think of that boy who very much needs his Dad.

      Hey Bob - just found your post and wanted to let you know that there are prayers and thoughts winging their way to you as I type/you read............

      Sounds like your boy has a great Dad there - keep going, just one day at a time will do just fine...

      USE US ALL THE TIME!!!

      Repeat after me.... "Today I will drink only the substance of life - WATER." (And have each glass be one in honour of a child that hasn't got any and is soooh sick because iof it.....)

          Hi Bob. Positive AF vibes heading from my house to yours. WE CAN DO THIS!!! I don't think I had two AF days in a row for YEARS before starting this program. Today is Day 39 AF for me. If I can do it, I know you can do it. Come here often!

            "It`s always darkest before the dawn".........looks like you`ve reached the dawn, as you realize that you don`t want to lose your family.

            We`re all here for you............so glad you`ve decided now is the time.........like us all, you have so much for which to get sober.

                  I noticed that your avatar is "dressed" for battle!
                  This IS a battle that we are in....arm yourself with everything you can find to "fight" it.
                  My prayer is .
                  Father,
                  Be with Bob....strengthen him and open his spiritual eyes and ears to see and hear from you.
                  Let him KNOW that he is not alone in this battle.
                  Help him to be able to "father" his son as you would have him do.
                  Thank you for Who you are and for The Battle that You already won for us.

                    Bob,
                    My thoughts and prayers are with you. Be strong, keep reading and posting. I had 2 AF days last week, want to have many more next week. It's really hard for me when my husband opens a bottle of wine. The temptation is so great. Wishing you lots of strength in this battle.
