Lukalee... know what you mean about being drunk is not very attractive. Im wearing a dress today with sandles for once im going to look like a woman, and stay sober and attractive, (please God!) and not fall over every where. :fingers:

Mad mummy... Your not mad, for some people that works for them knowing they have a bottle of wine not open in the fridge. If that works for you then that good. keep it up.

Over here is a bank holiday on monday, this was always a excuse for me to drink lots more. 20Days Af and sticking to it.

East...wow 44days af you are doing so well, just keep on going frontward now. Yes East i did stay strong but at times it was a hard but i made sure i open a thread up which help me a lot. One think i have learn is to get help support and advice before hand. i suppose it help me being just next door.

Lukalee... i did have a good time thanks... took your advice and open a thread. Had a arguement with my neighbours two doors down about the kids could of done with a brandy afterwards to calm myself down but didn't... this put a damper on the party and then i come on here, and afterwards took the dog for a walk for fresh air not realize when i got back locked myself outside the house. this was a test for me but in the end i was the one in control.
Rustop...looks like the weather is going to be dry and sunny. Have a good time at your holy communion party. The girls look really nice in there white dresses, i can remember my holy communion had my sister dress. all the old people give you money in your hands. come to think of it they was not that old. the boys look really smart in there suit and looked very cheeky some them.
Its funny why is it the parent end up arguing about the kids...they normally say the kids will make up but i cant see this happening there little girl can be very nasty im not saying my girl is a angel, because she not but i do know she not nasty.
Anyway gone and dusty sweeping it under the carpet.

Teardrop so proud of you. 21 AF days today! I love the "I was the one in control" statement, and you know what? you was in control then and you are in control now!
Don't concern yourself too much with the neighbours and their daughter,you have to do whats right , I do know what you mean about tests though! I think that they are sent to try us. It is very hard to not give in, but the reward is the satisfaction you feel each time you have the "fight" and win! Stay strong.

Mad Mummy I have had wine in the fridge for the whole time I have been AF. Its my comfort that If I should need it...................the test is I don't. I won't say that its not been out the door a few times, but is still not opened!

East, My goal for May is not more than 1 evening night out with a few drinks, but I don't really know if I will end up going out; we'll see, one day at a time. I think I may be too busy to do anything but work and sleep anyway. May is a hectic month. I will keep to the goal of no more than one night, not around the childrn, and not on a week day.

Just a quick check in before the teenagers take over the computer. Well done Teardrop, you must be so proud of yourself. Had a lovely day at the communtion yesterday, weather was fab. Drank diet coke and tea and enjoyed it. It's true people dont even notice what you are drinking, its only yourself who is obsessed with Al. Lot of travelling so very tired today but going to take it easy.
