Thanks East, you're the bestest. You sure are beating the crap out of that old record of yours. Tomorrow I will break mine, and I hope to continue down this fabulous path. Although my goal is not to be completely AF, I sure the hell do not want to EVER walk down the path I was heading, which means many, many more AF days in my future!!!!

Couldn't get near the computer all weekend due to infestation of kids! Had "mod" weekend, felt in control and no hangovers.......... phew! Last night AF and feeling good. Really glad you coped rustop - brilliant. East you're doing so well hope you're enjoying the sunshine, today is lovely. Lukalee I cannot imagine you being lazy you always sound soooo bouncy. I agree with you east my windows looking a bit dirty now the sun is shining on them. Looks like this week is going to be a lot of sunshine at last i'm going to give my feet some fresh air get the sandles out.

Good morning/evening all you lovely Firecrackers!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really need to get my rear in gear and get ready for work. On one hand, I can't wait for this month to end; then the chaos will come to a close. But on the other hand June and July are very long, slow, nothing to do kind of months. That time last year is when I really got myself in trouble with AL. It has always been a problem, but not like last summer. Although it was very protudctive in terms of doing things around the house, I was always carrying a beer with me as I was doing the projects!!!!!!!!!! I have set my goal for May, but I have not set any for JUne and July yet. I guess I am waiting to see how May ends up. I don't know, just rambling.
Got to get ready, talk to you gals soon.

Hello all, I've seen this thread before and did not join in as I really thought I could moderate. Well, I'm failing miserably. Whats worse is I'm drinking more that before as I become obsessed about it. I have also began to build a tolerance which I'm sure isn't good. I would like to get in control and not feel depressed and bloated. I will begin 30 days today, I had to say that as I have never before. Wish me luck.

Kids back in school and delighted to get back to my routine. Did not get near the computer the last few days. Still kicking Al's ass but the cravings have been bad the last few days. Having lots of drinking thoughts. Glad that I am getting back into a routine for that reason.

Beautiful day here so I'm going to spend it in the garden. Cleaned the patio over the week-end so might have the first BBQ this pm. Have agreat day everyone.

Hi Crackers,

Beautiful day for a BBQ Rustop,Have been attempting to tidy the garden last few days,just to get outdoors in the sun.
My thoughts have turned to drinking but managed to keep stocked up on the AF Becks they really are a lifesaver for me. Always liked lager on hot days,(don't like sweet drinks )suppose its habit but the AFs do the trick. Mr East KNOWS that I have these thoughts sometimes and opens an AF for me!

Lukalee, I have always rewarded myself after decorating or any other project by sitting down for a "break" and a drink in the past.The jobs never got finished properly though:H
Summer months I was always occupied with one of the kids on summer break. My "baby "is now at work and so June , July and August will be a BIG test for me this year!

KAT20 Hello and :welcome: I too had tried to Moderate for some time after my first 30 days and just went straight back to my old habits.I try and keep away ODAT from AL now And its has worked so far. I am always aware that I walk a very thin tightrope just have to keep aware. I wish you strength as well as Luck for your new path. Look forward to hearing from you, you will ALWAYS recieve tons of support here.

Good morning all, Thanks Lukalee and Eastender. Day 2 today, had trouble falling asleep last night and trouble waking up this morning but, now that I'm up and going I feel pretty good. Looking forward to a clear head all week. The most I have done in the past is four days and never the weekend. I have supps and vitamins which I comtinued to take while drinking but now I'll really get the benefits. Great to hear all of you talk about outdoor projects and cookouts. Thats good therapy for me as well. Minus the cocktail when I'm finished. Have a great day.

We had a small BBQ on monday just next day come round. Hubby bought red wine no one touch it... so i've put it away in the cupboard out site out of mind ....no one is going to stop me now 24days Af. just had AF wine this is weird i beginning to like it. LOL. but only have it on weekends. Felt superfit yesterday went for a bike ride and a jog afterwards i know my muscles are going to start hurting me soon.

Kat20 :welcome: I think moderating can be very hard, we are here for you..like lukalee said you can do this, but dont give up.

Day 3 For Me!!

Yeah, I know in the past this hasn't boded well for me - as soon as I go on and say I've done 3 days I usually slip...........................

Well hopefully not this time - one hour at a time tonight.

East, Teardrop, Rust and all you other UKers - isn't this weather fabulous???

Going outside now to drink cup of tea (not glass of wine as in the past!).

Need to ask Sweet when her next hols are planned if this is the weather she gets.
