Hello, hello, hello!!!! This week is flying by so quickly. I really wanted to drink tonight, but I am sticking to my guns of no drinking during the week!!!!!!! I have a feeling this Saturday will be my one evening for the month. I am ok with that as long as I stick to it!!!!!!

Hi Firecrackers

Another beautiful day and intend to spend it in the garden. Spent all of yesterday outside and had our first BBQ. I was so wrecked last night that I fell asleep in front of the tv. One way of getting through the witching hour. When I woke up all cravings had gone and I just went to bed. Must stock up on the AF Becks again, I have not had any in weeks and I think it does help, especially in this warm weather.

Rustop...The warm weather not sure whats worst for my craving, in the Winter or the summer seeing everyone outside the pubs with a cold cool cider or wine. Need to block this out of my head and keep AF
Good for you lukalee stick to your guns you can do it. Its funny the more af days you got it seem to go quick does not seem like a standstill for me no more, feels like i'm moving on and rebuilding.
Cowgal and mad mummy...4days Af well done to both of you.
Kat20...well done 3days AF keep going, the good think about being Af is the first thing in the morning.
Massai...good to see you...glad you love your driving course have fun. I feel like being here mwo has help me so much dont think i could of never did this on my own.

It was beautiful here Tue and Wed, but no it s 55 and going to be cold and gray all weekend. I'm anxiously awaiting my time in the yard. Eastender, Jessie & Maasai congrats on your acheivements. Well done on your 7 days AF that is a great start.
I have done the 30 days way back in October/November and toyed with moderation December to March, that sent me straight back over the weeks to where I used to be 1-2 bottles plus a night.
I think something in your head suddenly sees sense I don't remember when this time,but my spirit (if you like) was willing me on. My head and hands wanted the drink,but I just kept persevering like you do with a two year old. Gentle but firm.
Took a little time and patience to sink in, I still crave a drink but replace it with AF beer and other experiments! Don't be too harsh on yourself just don't give up,You WILL get there.
Hi Maasai so good to see you here, Driving as well good for you! another feather in your cap as us Brits say!
Teardrop, Dont worry about not having a cold cider they do AF ones too,I have tried them and no headache or hangover afterwards Great! Add it to your list when you get AF wine.

Not so sunny today but dry and pleasant,Hate these Wasps that appear from nowhere and decide to set up home with me in my shed or loft!

For those of you like myself, who like the thought of joining in on social occasions I have found a website that supplies AF drinks in the UK. I know that some people think that substituting is not useful but I find it helpful for me.

Mad mummy... I hate to say but its. been many many years for me 26days af could be 15years
Jessie... :welcome: As the weeks go past does get easy but always need eyes at the back of your head, well i do and have your wits about you the beast is always waiting for that moment of time!
I try quite a few times 30days but always got back on here when i fell of my big pedalstal. This is the furthers i have got. but this time round was different i really wanted to do this so much that it comes from deep down inside me...you will know when the time is right something just clicks inside you. i often thought what people meant. when they said this but now i have experience it...It like no one no one is going to stop you. whatever happens just dont give up and keep on trying.
Wakupmom...so good to hear from you, you are so right this place is so special and so dear to me...always love reading your post. Enjoy the sun looking forward to next weekend at the uk meeting, it funny i still feel scared but everyone is so nice its like as if we all know each other from before.
