All well here i think i am 37 today.Its funny that once those first 30 are out,you really do not wish the days away.Thats not to say i don't think about al all the time,and i really only get by one day at a time,but i am not as obsessed with counting and sometimes have to think.

Congrats to you Massai for nearly one year! It feels like a lifetime to me at Day 7!!! But, those 7 days have passed by so quickly and fairly effortlessly for me. It has take work and staying with the supps and having things to counter the triggers. But today is almost over and day 7 is under my belt. That feels much better than having too many drinks under my belt. Congrats to all firecrackers who have set goals, made plans, had good days, had bad days and started over, we all deserve a pat on the back for what ever it is we have done. Also for just showing up here to support one another. Thank you all for being here. I couldn't have done it with out you.

I feel especially good about making it through today AF. We went to Arlington Race Track (horses- for those of you who don't know). It is typically a day full of drinking beer, and betting on the races. I drank AF beer. I don't think I can even drink those anymore. They make my tummy do bad things. I think I will be better off just drinking water or club soda from now on. It took the edge off for today, though as my husband did drink. I just have to get used to drinking other things when we go to these functions. It is such an automatic to order a beer as soon as we walk in the door. Well, I am off to read and go to bed early tonight so that I can get up early and work out. I did not get that in today like I had planned. Good night!

Good Morning firecrackers, A beautiful Sunny hot Sunday here. Sorry to hear about the rainy weather some of you are having. Day 34 here and I think I'm going for 60. Picked up my bike yesterday and its really cool, very retro which is what I wanted. Will take it out today and watch for the rain so I don't melt. Ha Ha East. I would'nt mind melting alittle, say 10lbs.:H Teardrop, I don't know if I'll use all 7 gears either but I guess I'll learn. Thanks for asking about my sister. With her court date postphoned I thought she figured she was out of the woods for now. I found out when I saw my therapist on Friday that she had called and wants to continue to see her. Thats great news as it shows she might be asking for help. Teardrop asked if shes worried. She had this bad ass exterior but I know soft inside. I suppose thats why enabled her in the past. Hopefully there will be treatment instead of jail. Spiritgirl, hope you made it through your weekend. I went to a dinner last night and brought my own AF beverages. Sorry to hear about your DUI. Glad you are here. Good job Maasai on one year. I want to be there. Congrats to Dolphin, 12 days, Amelia 6 days, Shelby 5 days, & Wakeupmom on 37 ! SpiritGirl, You are not too weak. You chose to drink. Don't beat yourself up. It does NO good, but to feed the viscious cycle. Hang in there Girl, keep coming back. We will be nicer to you, than you are to yourself. Straight, but nice.

Again, I am not good at remembering everyone's name and/or posts, but sounds like most of us are doing fairly well. I am on Day 8 AF and feeling good. Spent the day at Arlington Racetrack yesterday. (horses) Usually, that is a day of beer, betting and food. I drank AF beer, bet and ate a salad. It felt so good to be the one to drive home, tired, but clear headed.

Wishing everyone a happy Sunday. I am off to the grocery store, to finish laundry and to do some kind of exercise. I will check in before bed
