Been to the docs and have got different medication so hopefully that should improve things. Nothings showing so far on the tests apart from the fact that I have had concurrent viruses because I have been so low. Back again in a couple of weeks to monitor my progress. Thanks so much East and Rustop for your kind thoughts. Yes i am with yiou for an AF February lets really try and go for it

Hi everyone

Just a quick check in to wish you all a great week-end. With teenagers in the house I dont get near the computer at week-ends. There are two boyfriends on the scene at the moment also and they were here last week-end. I am back babysitting again, cant really leave them alone in the house!!

I too am aiming for an AF February. I need to get more AF days than I am at the moment. Have a great week-end and catch up with you all on Monday.

On day 4 af today My worst day! Have been keeping busy had Mr East and East jnr home yesterday due to weather and travel disruption. I remember every winter when a child having snow to play with, what is the big deal?

Rather busy at the moment so just popping in quickly - I am doing some of the jobs that I have left over the past 3 months because I have felt so low - Hmmmmm think I must give my halo a little shine for being so good

East your right one bit of snow and the whole country is in disruption. Mind you I don't like driving in it so I have kept at home in the warm - No snowmen or igloos for me:l

Hi Firecrackers

I envy you Sweetpea being inside nice and warm. Have had a horrific few days. Loads of snow so driving hazardous. Daughter number one doing work experience in city so have to drive 20 minutes to train to get her there. First morning took me two and a half hours, yesterday morning was ok but distruption on track so ended up driving into city, again over 2 hrs in car to get her home. Other daughter is doing exams so have to get her to school on time in the middle of all this!!

I really miss when they were small and I could just keep them at home and have a snow day. Now they just want to get on with whatever they are doing, not play in the snow!! Oh well good to be able to do it I guess. Have been AF so far in Feb, lent is coming up so that is a good incentive and excuse to get more AF time. No walks with the doggies these days, off now to do some more driving. Catch you all later.

Rustop know what you mean about horrific! just been out for the first time this week for shopping and visit to nurse. Car was sliding all over the show and had to give wayward daughter lift to station after she was late back this morning from bf house, her own fault but another story!
My blood pressure was sky high! Nurse not pleased and wants to see me in six weeks time minus some weight!
Day 5 af for me today and thought that would show in reading, funny, in past checks when drinking its been lower
I sooooo much preferred my kids when they were young,and could share snow days,they are such hard work now and so unbelievably selfish.
Hope that your cosy days are doing you good Sweetpea, I look forward to loosing the builders so I can relax and spend sometime doing some sorting.

Eastender you sound like you are doing well....how many days are you at now?

Rustop, yep the snow has been pretty bad here too....and they are telling us we are getting another load of it tonight. Just glad I don't have to go anywhere (working from home) for a couple of days.

Hi Amelia, thanks for popping in. I recognise your name from ages ago. Big Hi to Teardrop, hope you are doing ok. We are all thinking of you and sending you lots of cyber hugs.

Well after a week from hell driving in the snow, I finally got to enjoy it at the week-end. Went on a two hour hike in the woods on Saturday with 2 friends. It was absolutely amazing. Was exhausted after it and unfortunately did not stay AF. When we got back to my friends house, she made mulled wine and of course I had some. I keep doing this, getting loads of AF days and then breaking it. Well this is the start of another week so plan to make it an AF one. How are you doing East, you were starting to string some days together last week. Hope you are feeling a bit better Sweetpea.

Had another stressful day, builders pulled plaster off kitchen walls today, my son is going to kill my daughter (he says).Hugh argument went on between them and well they are 27 and 18 acting like two year olds! logged on to get some strength! have nearly reached for a large drink! will have AF beer instead I think.
I had strung together 7 days but went out for dinner on saturday and caved in! Such a whimp! Anyway today day 2 and will try to get at least 6 days AF. I am expecting for Valentines night to prove be a problem, but I will deal with that when the time comes.

Welcome back Lukalee. We are still here chugging along. As I was saying on ODAT, you either keep going and get as many AF days as you can or else leave MWO and keep drinking. Well done East on your 7 days, I'm sure you will reach your target this week as well. I dont know how you keep going with those builders in the house, that plus teenagers enough to drive you insane. My teenagers are really doing a number on me this week.

The older one lost her maths book plus two copies and could not study for her exam today!!! I'm the one who has something wrong with me to even suggest she needs to get her act together. She's in love and he has been kicked out of school, agghhhh!!! Head in the clouds. Just needed to vent there, wont allow it to drive me back to Al.
