I'm feeling a bit better today. Got to bed at a more decent hour last night and that always helps the day get off to a better start.

On my first two weeks AF i cried about anything and everything, Could not understand WHY?
On reading the posts it seemed to be a pattern .We drown our emotions with alcohol and when we stop its a bit like Vesevio (live Volcano in Italy )erupts without warning.
It is good to cry and is our souls release. Does nothing for the face but let it out..........you will feel exhausted but calmer somehow.

My eldest and youngest children are problems in different ways, but my stubborn middle daughter is always there when needed. We have in the past fought like cat and dog but knowing that we should not have favorites- but she is the salt of the earth!
(Mr East once said we did right with one of them!)
Anyway my point is that although I love all my children despite thir faults, My middle daughter is to be the exec of our will, because she is just , kind and fair.
On reading your story I feel now that maybe this would be a big worry for her.
BUT IT PROVES that your family appreciated you for YOU, and this huge responsibility bestowed upon youshows that they believed you to be the one for the job...appreciation for your selflessness in your life.
I am thinking of you today wish I could be there to help you!

Hi Everyone

Suki that's the best place for the phone you can always call back if it is someone else and you want to speak to them. Great about you having made a list, just do things in manageable chunks. Eastender is right your parents chose you for the job because they knew everything would be done fair and square. I can well imagine if your Brother or Sister were doing it you would probably not see half of what should be coming your way. Just think you have only got to be up with the aggravation for a little longer. So take heart and strength from the thought and try and make today a bit better for yourself

Just wanted to say a quick hello and CONGRATULATIONS to Sweetpea. 30 Days is amazing, you can do that you can do anything!!

I agree with all the comments about family. I am an only child and as one of my cousins keeps telling me there is a lot to be said for it. My hubby is one of 7 and believe me she is right, the mind games, the jealousy etc that goes on is unbelievable. His way of dealing with it is exactly what Eastenders hubby suggested, dont engage. Up to this I have been doing it on his behalf as I felt it was the right thing to do but after a few incidents too many I am now doing the same.

I love the saying "Friends are the family we choose for ourselves" and I feel very happy being part of the MWO family.

:happy: Morning all you wonderful people

I am starting the day in a happy mood because we are going away for a few days visiting folks and should have a great time. Only down side is that I am going to be away from a computer and will not be able to post for a few days. :upset: It will be like leaving part of myself at home because I cannot get through the day without a MWO fix. Sad but true because every one here has played an integral part in helping me recover from my depressive state and kept me from self medicating on booze. YOU LOT HAVE BEEN MY ROCK BECAUSE YOU UNDERSTAND :h xx But I am going to follow my December plan and enjoy life without slugging it down my neck (a saying from the slang thread!!). So I should have loads to say when I get back but I want you all to know that I will be thinking of you and hoping that you are all getting on with whatever plan you are following with strength and determination knowing that I am rooting for you all

Hi Sweetpea,
Yes ,Usually up early to run daughter to station ,she always runs late! She had bad night. her bf went out with mates the night before got slaughtered not able to go to work yesterday. Was so ill but pains from stomach( that he thought was the booze) turned out to be appendix(?) May be having surgery today.
Hubby gone to Manchester for couple of days so with Xmas...........OH .........stress, will keep close to MWO today as feel Al is on my shoulder, and no-one but you folks to subdue him!
