Just popping in to say a quick hello. Welcome Ezekiel, I too love the name, very unusual. Sweetpea, hope you are soon feeling better, we are all thinking of you.

On Day 9 and feeling good. Last night was an easy one, hubby was away so there was no wine opened. Watched TV with the kids and went to bed early. Got all the xmas decorations up into the attic yesterday but while up there noticed all the mess and the amount of stuff that needs to be sorted and probably thrown out. Oh well thats another days work, I'll get around to it one of these days!! One of the advantages of being AF is having so much more energy.

Morning all Firecrackers. Still AF, but wish I felt better about it. Are these mood swings normal? Decided to rejoin my gym. Not going to go overboard like I did last time. Just need to get these creaky bones going again. Rustop, just reread your post, your energy is going to kickstart me today.

Lit my fuse last night and back up there feeling good on DAY 9 AF.

It did help that Sarah survived the minature killer in CSI and it all ended happy for a change!

Think my mind is running too fast/slow at the moment though. This morning the poor man from the tile shop rang to advise me my order was in and I mistook him for a car dealer who is due to deliver a new van to us. The most crazy conversation ensued discussing the wrong colour and delivery then I suddenly realised my mistake, my embarressment is still with me now! Won't be shopping there no more!:H

Teardrop. Yes, even with help it takes guts to hangglide, it takes guts for me to fly INSIDE a plane! (sorry to mention stomach or the like, I know I can't sit next to you on the train on account of my affliction:upset: LOLx)

RU. Yes FBY said yesterday the more you do...........My advice is keep out of the loft and you will forget about that job till next Xmas with any luck!

I go along with the less stuff and clutter. I did a big clear out 5 years ago when Loft was converted felt great, but what happens to the Christmas pressies you really do not like?

Mr East is not a drinker, but he struggles to stay awake always.

Yes I managed to enjoy all of the film last night and my wife was happy also, she said so! That made a nice change from collapsing on the sofa in the conservatory (my room) every night.
Tonight we are having a treat, we are dining out on Manchester's famous curry mile and our favorite restaurant is "Halal" which is great, no alcohol to buy. They do allow diners to take beer and wine into the restaurant but I'll just enjoy the food tonight, guaranteed.

Just brushed up on Ezekiel 37 out of curiousity-- Salvation is through grace and not free will -- Do these bones have the free will to make themselves live? An interesting question for all of us.

On Day 10. The cravings were bad last night as hubby was there with his glass of wine. I had only one bottle of Becks left so I will have to stock up again today. Mind you I had only taken one lot of supplements so that probably did not help. We are invited to a neighbours house on Saturday for mulled wine. We could not go last week-end. I am wondering how to get out of it or rather how to get out of drinking. This lady is quite pushy!! If she has made the mulled wine you damn well better drink it. I might try the quezy tummy routine, I'm never sick so I might get away with it. Worth a try as I will be on Day 12 and I really dont want to ruin it.

Ezekiel37 is a pseudonyn I also use elsewhere i.e in The Guardian's football "pick the score". So it was not choosen especially.
I would find it difficult to mesh the story of "The valley of the dry bones" with our MWO forum. Not even going to try other than the salvation bit.

However, if anyone cares to read it, start at Ezekiel 37 1-

The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

Hi FCs,

My day 10 AF today. Had a crap day yesterday, and sooooo wanted a drink in the evening.
Accountant still not happy, bumped into a friend whose Dad had just passed away suddenly, and had argument with daughter. :upset:
So I made a cocktail surprise, 100% Pineapple juice with tonic and slice of lime. surprise was no alcohol! Was very nice and kept a clear head whilst I waited for my daughter to arrive home (eventually at 1.15am!)
So tired today, the builders return on Monday, sand and cement to be delivered tomorrow.:blah:

Suki, I Like sauerkraut but what is the other one? I did buy a pole and was carefully sharpening it when the builder announced back on monday,so put it away for later!
Tiles and van same colour? Nooooooooo that would definately not work. Do not have either in my possession at the moment, another frustrating story!:bang

RU. Hmmm mulled wine.......... Yep!!!!! stick to the tummy trouble story it is far to tempting! My last "water infection" left me drinking Cranberry juice all night at a social occasion, its not bad though,and looks like red wine in the glass. Have a good time anyway.

Hello all!
Welcome back Sweetpea. Glad you are feeling better. I always lose a little weight when I get sick so when I start getting better I have that "lighter" feeling to cheer me up.
Here's a big hug for you :huggy and a ticket out of town for the nasty bug you caught.

I have been exercising a little more each week since xmas and it is finally starting to make a difference --don't feel like such a slug anymore. It really helps to keep the supps going too -definitely notice an energy dive when I miss a supp fix. Keep thinking about that gym Suki-- you'll be glad you did! :danthin:

Rustop- You mentioned that your cravings are inversely proportional to your supplement intake. Same for me. I was having a hard time taking a lot of pills so I switched to liquid vitamin/mineral/amino combos that are easier for me to swallow. Maybe its because I like to drink... you think? Anyway, it's working better for me.

Off to see the wizard. Gotta get my bones to work (Eze-- will be singing you know what on the way :thanks: )
