2days drinking.

Hi eveyone,

Starting all over again.:upset: could not help myself, hubby brought about 8cans of skcol super on saturday night got himself a bargain,well that what he thought. I think he thought those beers were going to last him until monday. But instead i got my greedy hands on them. The kids give me that look, why me and not him. Even my daughter calls me a alcohol. So i had a bottle and a half of wine yesterday. I do feel like a bit of standing joke now.

Sweetpea... looks like you might have to save me a seat on that train. There always one.lol
Suki...love your pole bear, so cute.
Evergreen ...you can do it, and i will just be behind you very soon. we are there for you.

Hi, All!

Erin here after a great weekend. Must admit....I did slip a wee bit on Friday night and had a glass of wine with dinner (it was filet mignon and delicious!). I wanted to see if I could do just one glass. Yes, I did BUT it brought back the cravings and I had a VERY tough weekend reining them in. I did but it was LOTS and LOTS of self talk....and so not worth that one glass of wine! So, in a way, I feel like I am starting all over....argh.

Sweetpea - lovely to see you are doing better and ready to bring on that challenge. We're all here for you.

And on MIL issues.....my sympathies and empathies....

I was on chat last night with Sweetpea and she reminded me of this thread. I have posted on it in the past but focus more on ODAT, I promise not to neglect this one again.

I just left an entry on ODAT that basically says this..........I'm doing great! I feel great, I'm proud of my achievements this month.........excuse me, I'm gloating! I can't remember the last time I had this energy and optimisim. Even though I have sad days, the happy ones are winning out in numbers.

See you all tomorrow when hopefully I'll be even more happy! Obnoxious isn't it

A sweet baby bear that no one can resist. Fully grown a force to contend with, sweet but not to be crossed!
Try to think that when the trash man picks up the load that all your old life is going too, You then start a fresh new life that YOU want from then on! Free of all the stuff. New and innocent just like little Knut.

Sweetpea, Your spirit is back, Love it , You inspired us all at the start of this thread and I can sense your determination again!!!!!!!, I am so proud of you and glad that you are feeling better.
My passport came today! so quickly, less than a week! Maybe a sign!
Will wait until building works finished and book somewhere ! Daughter will came too but communication a little fraught at the moment, things must get better though. I will think of it as a passing phase.

On my 21st day AF today but realise what a thin line we walk regardless of the amount of time we remain AF. We ALWAYS need to be on guard, but if it comes down and we slip sometimes just get up and start again! Thats how we will do it!

Evergreen how did day 1 go. Well I hope because I was thinking of you and sending strong vibes of support your way. I spent most of yesterday around the boards posting and reading to keep my hands from migrating to a bottle. Hard work but I achieved it whew now onto day 2

Teardrop a hard few days for you. I have been on that :teeter: a lot myself recently and it is such so hard to get it together. But you have done it before and you can do it again. Dust yourself down, stick two fingers up at the beast and get on that train with me because we will do it. I've saved you a window seat opposite so as soon as you are ready hop on

Suki onto day 7 for you Fantastic well done. How is the filing coming on now you have got rid of the trash. I hope you are not working too hard and have treated yourself to that walk and meal out - you so deserve it. With doing 60 hours a week you do need some rest and relaxation when you are not at work

Lukalee 28 days now so are so nearly getting to the 30 keep at it well done

Erin one wee slip at 21 days in the scheme of things is a drop in the ocean. You have done so so well over the past 3 weeks. Don't beat yourself up over one glass with a special meal. Yes it brought back the cravings which is a good reminder that AL has a nasty grip on us that is going to take time to shake off but we can do it. You have proved to yourself that you could stop at one so get back on the AF train and carry on because you have proved you can do it. I was at day 1 yesterday so we can move forward together

FinallyRN it has been great talking on chat. You have every reason to be pleased of your achievements because we all know just how hard you have had to fight to attain them. Well done on your efforts you are an inspiration to us all

This should insert a picture on every post you have ever made. It took me absolutely ages to twig how to do it but I got there in the end

I think you can insert your own picture from the INTERNET but I don't know how to do it
