Posted a test on the other Technical problems thread that you started, seemed to work.
Gave up this morning on the boat trip :H and went out for a window shop as I could not speak to my pals!
Bought some of the Protect and perfect range (the one on the telly), promises that I will have younger looking skin in just 4 weeks!ray:
Just need to book for liposuction and I am ready to face anything!

Hi,
I'm so sorry not to have been posting for a week..
I noticed posts about Jaqui's misfortune.. couldn't find the post, could anyone tell me what's happened? I understand it's something really serious and my heart goes out to anyone suffering.

I was very silly thinking i could go AF in the middle of my holiday, so decided to carry on drinking til i was back at work on Sunday. And hey presto, here i am now on day 5 AF!!!
Went shopping tonight and for the first time in years i actually forgot about the alcohol isle, felt so proud once i realized that. I have been feeling really energetic and have got so much done whilst AF and last night i even had a first really good, undisturbed nights sleep.
Things are looking good for the time being, but still OADT. But i must tell you what made me go for AF...

A few weeks ago i decided to have a liver test done.. one of those you send through the post. Had the results and was pretty shocked. My readings were about twice to those to normal meaning that i am at risk of developing liver damage. A bit of a reality check was in order then.. keep on drinking and face liver damage and possible early death, or stop and try to get healthy and live a long happy life instead. Doesn't really take too much of pondering when you're put in that situation. And as that was the reality, i got my head round it and now i'm actually enjoying being AF and hopefully will be for a long time. I'm not saying i quit forever, have a couple of parties in April, but i definately try to keep it down to just the day of partying and straight back to AF.

I read about varying success on AF here, but succeed or fall, just remember that we're still here for each other, through thick and thin. I certainly find comfort in the knowledge that i can come here when i feel weak, or even fall and will get the love and support from you fantastic guys.

Off to bed now, very busy day tomorrow for a change.

Feeling please with myself today ,printed out my drinktracker for the month and although I drank too much for my liking I managed 19 days AF in total out of the 29.
More determined to increase that figure for March! Yeeks that starts tomorrow!

Cowgal Normality not sure yet what that is but will get there eventually (I hope!)

Sorry I have left it so late posting today but things have been manic and I have been so busy. I am doing really great and feeling very happy at the moment.

YAY Finski you are back soooo pleased because we really missed you. Finski I dread having one of those tests done. How do you go about getting one done through the post?

Today i had to talk to myself in the mirror to stop myself from not going out to get a drink.. i'm not going crazy ok.:H but when the i need to get on mwo i cant so i have to find other ways to stop myself from drinking (very hard.) i have set myself goals that i want to achieve. wish me luck:fingers:

Sweetpea.. i wonder how many can fit in a sailing boat..i think it only two...we will have to put our life jackers on...dont like to cupsizes.
