I'm not sure how I am ggoing to cut it yet. A little over a year ago I cut 12 inches off, and it was the best thing I have ever done. It was such a pain. My hair is really curly and thick. Now it is back past my shoulders and I think I am going to go even shorter this time. We'll see. I'll either love it or hate it. But it's only hair; it will grow back. Plus it has to be better than what I have. I get sick of it and just throw it in a ponytail all t he time.

He/she looks like my cat I had when young,She really was disapproving she decided when I had my son ( she was 5 years old) that she no longer could live with us and went to live with my sister. Sometimes when I think about that now I think her sixth sense on my son may have been right!
My sister looked after her for a further 13 years! She was soooooo choosy............cat not sister

No it's not my cat - I have a long haired grey cat that is too lovable and lazy to disapprove of anything except adopting our second cat - who is a young BRAT, a huge short haired male, and the only thing he would disapprove of is being late with his breakfast.

Lukalee... i get my bike out or go for a slow jog....work wonders good fresh air....clears the head. lets us know how the new hair style went.

my turn to help at the youth club tonight was not that bad last time, played pool with the kids and table tennis and made sure i bought myself a bag of sweets..(they are nice and fresh.

Wow, we are doing well, East 34, Barebones 56, Teardrop 11 or is it 12, Lukalee 19. It's great to see the days mounting up especially when we can look back and know what a struggle it was. I remember your 5 day one East and now look at where you are. All the more to be proud of as you have so much going on at the moment. Hope all is well with your Mum and you get your own problem sorted out.

Good morning Firecrackers!! Thank goodness it's Friday. I am so tired this week trying to increase the exercise and lessen the sleep. I know it's good for me; I just need to get used to it.
The hair? Well, not so sure yet. With my hair so curly and thick, it needs to learn where to go. This morning I woke up looking like a peacock, but I got it to stay put; I just don't know yet what it will look like by the end of the day.

Oh, and there has been a change of plans, so I will have the kids on Saturday, so no drinking for me!!!

Hi ALL forecrackers,

Lukulee...keep up with the exerise it will get better but dont over do it.... when i first come here i thought to myself have to do 10days af before i start exercise..realize it was a excuse this time started from day1 AF...i have to push myself....stay focus and have a good saturday with the kids.

Well today the sun is out got my anties:ants: clothes out on the washing line. another load in the washing machine, and im up to date until 2morrow more dirty washing never ending. I do love waking up in the morning without a hangover ....It goood to feel good...the only thing is the evenings sometimes i just feel i need that drink so i push myself and go for a bike ride clears the head..

i have done over thirty days just recently. i took antabuse to start me out to avoid it, but after a few wweeks i felt i didnt need the antabuse. its weird, after 30 days af, u almost forget you have a problem. well, you dont forget, but you dont physically feel it, and obsess over it , or alcohol. its a great feeling. however there have been those times we're i was really tempted and wantd to drink like if i was out with friends at dinner, just a glass of two or wine really wanted. ifelt more in control, less depressed, less needy with my bf, less emotional. but i still have depression issues, but they are barely there after a few weeks of not drinking. still there, but no where nearly as much.

Barely made it through last night, but did with the help from Thankful. Tried the CDs for the first time last night, and I was totally out of it. Woke up when it was through, and konked back out like a baby, and I am so sleepy, I feel like I could sleep all day. Oh well.

Hi Firecrackers, This past week has been the lowest amount of al I've managed for many a years - wow thanks for all your support. Even did last night (Fri) al free, whereas normally weekends are 1+bottle of wine each evening just for me. Feeling good this morning, got up before the kids, no need for ibuprofen - this is such a revelation. Today has been beautiful in Southern England, blue skies, 20 degrees, really spring like. Sweetpea, Eastender, Teardrop and all you others hope you're doing OK have a good Saturday night.

Hi Firecrackers,

Had really busy day yesterday not able to get on computer.
Thought daughters Flat ready she has moved in but water heater blew so new one needed to be fixed. Daughter wanted to be with bf so Mum stayed with builder.Lovely sunny day and I was stuck in flat!
Did not finish pipe split so returning today for short while as daughter staying over at bf.

Lukalee,Sorry I was not around yesterday when you were feeling tempted, those Cds have the same effect on me you can't remember listening to the whole thing! At least they relax you which helps with the anxiety.
I hope that you day with the kids was OK. I llove your comment about your hair has to learn where to go, my hair is the same. I always look " wild and interesting " in the mornings too!

DC In my next life I think I will come as a cat,lovable and lazy sounds great to me.
Cats have a very independant attitude,I love that about them.

Wish I could exercise I have to much pain at the moment but like to walk on good days.
I had hormone tablets 15 years ago made me gain weight,would rather not go there again.
Anyway the fibriods are too large to be treated with anything but some sort of surgery:upset:

Rustop Hi and thank you my Mum was fine.She rang said they had found three marks on the mammogram,and although still there they will keep an eye on them.but feel that they are nothing to worry about PHEW! Have mine in June. Wont think about that yet.........

Me145 Hi and:welcome: Well done on your AF time.I know what you mean about the obsess thing. On my previous 30+days I obsessed about Moderating,that DID NOT work either, same stress.
This time I think ODAT that I won't drink cannot believe I have got this far!
Alcohol is a deppresant itself so but adding more to our bodies it increases the depression I know this now. Its great that you are feeling the way you do,as you say stronger than before,I guess thats why over time the AL voice gets quieter..........

Happy Sunday Firecrackers,

I like Sundays now that we found a community church that we can relate to. As our pastor says, "We're a non-denominational church with a big heart." Lot's of caring folks from all walks of life. The service is always uplifting and I leave with a better understanding of our connection to ourselves, others, and the universe in general. We have a long guided meditiation segment during the service that-- like Luckalee-- relaxes me so much that I have to struggle to stay awake. I DO NOT want to fall asleep during church because I snore and it's not a pretty sound::blushing:

I hope you all have a relaxing day -- we deserve it.
