4Days drinking but starting again today!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Glad to see you back sweetpea. Not only had the taster, but got myself a bottle of wine.
Eastender and fluttuby Love the peoms. Eastender love the quote about the young puppy, i'v been feeling like a young puppy the last 4days.
Had a xmas meal on friday did not have that bottle of wine before i left to go out. Me and my friend had 2bottles of red wine, no one else was drinking (shit) put me to shame, Any way everyone had desserts except for me i had to have a irish coffee. I'm sure they think i got a drinking problem. Was telling them about the beach parties i use to go to. (can never keep my mouth shut when having a drink.) This could of been a great opportunity for me not to drink but mess-up, the night ended early really wanted to go somewhere else the night was young. Got home early so i ended up drinking my cider. ( i do feel guilty.)

:tsk: :sup: I have not taken my sups since last Thursday and I am really coming to the conclusion that they really do work because I have just succumbed to a glass of wine HOW STUPID IS THAT

So PLAN OF ACTION is to read my plan of action for December and really really get into it
Take my sups religiously
Keep posting and reading till I get this PEA BRAIN of mine back on track and into AF mode

I am not going OTT at the moment but starting at this time of day is a definite NO NO. Trouble is having been away we were having one with our lunch so this has got to stop now I am at home NOW

Teardrop I always go for the Irish Coffee option given the choice not only because I like a drink but because If I am going to have the calories I would prefer to have them for something I really enjoy - a lot of my friends are the same

I am going to talk myself into going into AF mode again tomorrow for a few days anyone want to join me

Have woken in a positive mood and will be AF today. Everyone seems to be struggling at the moment I think our minds have been programmed over the years to associate December with parties and Booze, Booze and More Booze. It is taking a hell of a lot of talking to myself to get out of that frame of mind but I must do it I MUST DO IT

Eastender I agree removing the front door could be quite tricky, how about those self closing hinges that closes the door but won't let it slam - that would stop the dramatics :H - Oh I remember them sooooooo well from when my daughter was younger!!!

Suki thanks for joining in with the AF session I do need to get a grip so the more help I can get the better

Teardrop we all seem to be at it at the moment but we have got to stick together and try to be as AF as possible. I can relate so much to feeling guilty. Mr Pea did not say very much last week but the look on his face said it all - SAD - God I felt so awful that I had let myself down but I know this is going to take time and if I compare myself to how I was a few months ago I am loads better so ON WARDS AND UP WARDS

Morning all. Actually did day 1 AF yesterday Pea, sorry I jumped a day on you. But I've been putting off the paperwork I need to do to settle mom's estate, before year-end. The more I drank, the less I thought about what I needed to get done. I'm running out of time.

Work is trying t get some time off for stress. Wish they would have done it a year ago, but we'll see. Could use the time to get myself back on my feet. But the offer made me realize how important support is.

Great day to all of you, whether AF or mod. I'll be slipping and sliding on my way to work. More ice than in my freezer.

Will be very stressed this week Mr East came home last night to tell me builders are in tomorrow!
Will have more time at home to log on to MWO though!

Will try to join you Sweetpea and Suki I really need to do it for a few days , inbetween making Bacon sandwiches and gallons of Tea for the builders.
Have sister for lunch today. (well not a cannibal) joining me for lunch with her hubby so will check back later today.

Just wanted to say hello. I dont envy you Eastender, we had major work done about 4 years ago and never again!!! The builders were on site for 5 months and we lived in part of the house while all this was going on!! Never again.

Been away from the computor for a few days and am just catching up on all the news.Seems like there have been a few slips along the way .But hey thats all they are,so chins up.This is a journey and we all learn something.Just keep plugging away.I think the support is so important,so even if you don't feel like posting due to lapses you really must.After all we so understand and will stick by you whatever.

Hi All,
Well I had my monthly visit with my dr yesterday. She is very pleased with me. I did tell her that I am having trouble with Fri and Sat. She said to not be so hard on myself, I have gone from drinking 7 days a week to having a drink maybe 2 nights. I so want to be AF forever though. It is still the same thing. When I have 1 drink I want more. She suggested after xmas that I go to a psychologist and see if we can work the head thing out.
I have another 2 months scripts of naltrexone. I do think that it is definitely working for me. When I do have a drink or 2 I know I am going to wake up ill the next morning and it really doesn't taste anywhere near as good as it used to.

Hi Everyone,
I feel such a fraud tonight I had every intention of remaining AF this morning.But tonight.....
I have just to my recollection downed 2 1/2 bottles of wine. Feel OK ,thats the problem I always do! Do not feel the need of help ASAP someone else needs it more than me!
My sister visited lunchtime and brought wine and my daughter had friend for stop over this evening brought wine. I KNOW I dont have to drink it but I did.
WHY DO I?
Answers on a postcard please.
Sorry ,just felt I needed to get it off my chest so at least I can sleep without worrying that I have let you all down AGAIN, you are all doing so great and I am so proud of you all ,Suki Debruce Rustop Fby & sweetpea. Keep going I hope to follow some day.
