still a little confused if i'm putting this in the right group(firecrackers), but it doesn't matter. we all need support. just reporting in, don't want 2 loose my connection with the support at MWO. would like a word of support, for tonight is my weekly shooting pool outing. my team knows my position on al, and understand. last week went and shot, got done, and came straight home. good thing. i need thoughts and prayer.:thanks:

Maasai... you will not be left behind.... l love reading your post and when l look at your avatar in my mind i can hear your voice so loud and clear,and very firm and strong i like that... are you?

Cowgal... Hope you get better soon..get some vicks and rub it on your chest and back...also put a spoon full in boiling waterin a bowl and let it melt and then breath it in...dont throw it away leave the bowl in your bedroom over night should help clear the head as well.... hope it works... Take care of yourself.:h

my 1to1 session give me homework to do.

wants me to write down my thoughts, my moods and situation just before i want that drink. It funny a lot of my thoughts i block out. OH well just have to see how this one goesor were it goes... Did not like my group session yesterday had to walk out half way throught the break...some of the people are in deep depression and it reminded me of my brother, some are on drugs as well as alcohol... plus there was not the same poeple there from a couple of weeks ago. Felt like i had to explain myself all over again.

anyone else i have not mention....i love u all

Morning all firecrackers. Everyone sounds so upbeat, positive and strong. I hope all of you get together and give me a collective kick in the butt to get me back on track.

Running late for work. Need to start posting on a more regular basis. Will be waiting for your kick. Hope it knocks me off my chair, making me hit my head on the edge of my desk and knock some sense into me.

Cold is in my sinuses, not my chest, glad to find that out at the docs, feel the same today, but medicine and antibiotic haven't kicked in yet probably..........thanks for the advice Teardrop, I love Vicks, it really feels good when you are sick! Hot hot hot shower helps too........

Just read my post above about the group sessions i hope this will not offered anyone....its just that people there are not getting the right help from there G.P doctor.... it just made me upset and annoy how the system works..... even i can see when a person has mental disorder problems that they need help WHY cant the GP see it? HOW far has a person got go to harm themself.....

Sorry for this negative pos... but i feel so strong about this.

Last night I drank a bottle of wine it would have been my 4th AF day, Why do I have so much trouble getting through that day!:bang

Gary there is always someone listening, just may be short time delay, because of time Zones, Congratulations on getting through your night out,so proud of you.wish I had your stamina.

Erin thanks, post your tips when you can, I am useless in chat cannot type fast enough, if too many people there I get lost!

Teardrop Damn snake bit me last night, but you are free to climb,GO GIRL!
Maybe you are avoidant personality also,my daughters diagnosis for me,seems a common thread amongst us.
I know what you mean about the GP s just writing people off, I lost a cousin in the new year, he was only 30 years old and died from overdose of heroin,so young so sad.
Our system just likes to make figures better, not people unfortunatly. The proper help is sometimes just too late.

Suki Green for go,yellow for ready and red stop yes? Well I am on the green mile with you my friend for the punishment, we will take it and march on!

a butt kicking, no.

you need a mind thrasher. i'll explain. years ago when it was time to harvest the oats, we would put the oat bundles inside this huge machine(thrasher). and inside were these mechanics that would shake and shake. there was basically three outlets, one was to get the green out (the everyday stupid thoughts,how can i and whys) the second was the chaff and stalks which was good to use(MWO, support, talking, and listening), and the final, and premium product was the oats,( you and me AF, proud of accomplishments, doing the good for our bodies, the people around noticing the good changes were showing),. the list is endless.i get pumped up typing this. whoo hoo. hope this makes sense to all my MWO friends. so i'm not going to kick butts, but want to shake your minds, with a THRASH MACHINE. thank you all 4 being here today and tomorrow. lets shake it up. i think we should post the good things and thoughts, that keep us walking forward in our life as well.:b&d:and:rockband:i love these guys. c u soon, gary

Seriously, that is a great idea, just need to hang on to my oats whilst supported by the stalks and chaff!
