Had new Van delivered yesterday, BIG mess up with plate number cannot use it :damn:

Have a really busy day today trying to sort out mess, so will try and post later today,

I'm stumbling with you East, step by step. You finally got you van. Yeh. Hope you get the plate problem settled today.

Teardrop, I agree with you about GPs. Mine would subscribe an antidepressant, but never would follow up. It takes months to get an appointment and we get about 10 minutes with them.

Think Gary has a great idea with the thrasher. Will look for a mechanic East.

Late again for work. Had wine last night and the in morning after those nights, its harder to get out of bed.

Good wishes to all. It's going to rain heavily all day saturday. Possible flooding, hopefully Al drowns.

TGIF!! How I used to DREAD/LOVE that!! I used to dread it cuz it meant another weekend w/ AL, also LOVED it for the same reasone (only remembering the good memories when that happened!?!) Don't know if that makes sence but now I LOVE FRIDAYS!!!! Mostly because no work for 2 days, AND I have 2 very productive, fun exciting days ahead of me AF!! What a difference 18 days makes!! HUH???

Suki, East sorry you got taken by AL, that JERK!!! Don't let him fool ya!! At least you are trying over again, bive yourselves that credit!

Teardrop, the cold is still lingering, gonna call the doc again today cuz I am still not sleeping well, been more than a week that I have coughed all night!! YUCK!!!uch:

Hi All you firecrackers.

It nice to woke up on a saturday morning without a hangover.....feel sooooo good, All quiet here at the moment kids are still in bed. got myself a nice hot cup of tea. busy day for me today..... got to get round brother house pay his bills do his shopping plus his washing machine is not working.:upset: so that means i will have extra washing to do....so far he has been doing good he as more AF days then me but he is not allow to have NO money in his hands, the thing is he does not seem to mind. (If that was me i would be going crazy.) He has got himself a job and one of his friend said to all the work men at the site not to invite my brother over to the pub he is not allow to drink. I Hope he keeps this friend because a lot of his goood friends he as loss through drinking.

Hi Firecrackers,

Could not manage yesterday AF, will do today because going out with friends and will be driving home....
I don't know why I am like this at the moment, I am beginning to wonder after being here almost 6 months why it seems to be harder now.
Seeing everyone doing so well it encourages me to feel positive in one respect, but when I let myself down, I also feel as if I let you all down too!
I know I have to "fess" up, otherwise I would be going back to lying to myself plus all of you.
Cards on the table, I can still drink a bottle of wine in an evening like it was lemonade. Get up in the morning without a hangover and carry on, but I have done that for years.
I really want to change but that numb place can feel so familiar at times.

Suki, I am with you hon, lets see if we can get up angd fight just for today, I will watch your back ,you watch mine OK?
Plate still not sorted will hopefully be next week, in the meantime van cannot be used:durn:

FinallyRN. Tying up mine never worked, like Houdini they would managed to escape and climb out the window! It seems like they pick the worst possible moment to play up, when your otherwise engaged!

Cowgal. I am turning into a proper fool seeing that AL still has not let go, How good are your rope skills?

East, I so know what you are talking about. Have been here since early November. At first, I was gung ho, tracking my AF days, loved adding them up. Read and posted constantly, took the supps, listened to the cds. I was so proud of myself. Ate lots of quinoa, which somehow put me in such a good mood!

Knew it was going to rain all day today. Stopped last night on my way home and bought a bottle of wine. It was gone before I knew it and I kept thinking, what else could I drink.

Had been on sort of an emotional rollercoaster last week. My dreaded brother called, to tell me all about his latest doctor's appointment for his prostrate cancer. Blah, blah, blah. Please understand everyone, I don't wish cancer on anyone, but this man destroyed my family, sexually abused me as a child. He has been absent from the family for 30 years. Prevented my parents from knowing his two daughters. Now that my mom has passed away, he calls me constantly, telling me how much he loves me. I can see through him. I am the executrix and control what money is left. My parents didn't want him to get anything. He keeps calling, calling, calling me, telling me how much he loves me (rollercoaster on the way down).

The doctor who was such an angel to my mom before she died, a handsome, caring, italian, with wonderful bedside manners, Maurizio Diaco, called me at work to tell me that he stills thinks of mom everyday (rollercoaster on the way UP). We talked about my mom.

The lawyer who is representing me in the lawsuit, where the real estate agents who sold my mom's place are suing me for a bigger commission, called to go over my testimony on tuesday (DOWN). Up and down, up and down. Wine was my way of dealing with it, no forgetting about it.

East, I have your back today, as I know you have mine. I need to be AF today. That's my goal for a rainy, very rainy saturday. Thanks for your help!

Teardrop, how lucky is your brother that you are so caring. PLUS being AF for 5 days. Awesome.

cant stay to long

East...you can do this again just take 1day at a time..dont think about doing 30days yet. last sunday when i went out for a pub lunch i had 3 large glasss of wine...on the way home. had to get a bottle of wine just was not enough..finish that then had to go out to the shop to get cider. for me it never ending its a bit like the story. my body cant take it no more. even though i still get up for work but i work a lot slowly and plus i'm just so tired and weak all the time. like tonight dont know what going to happen, just have to say no to myself every hour. i think about drinking some days all the time. just think you will feel a lot better 2morrow for it.

Suki.... hang in there you can do this. its funny we give any excuse to drink even if it was sunny out side a nice glasses of wine siting out side in the garden. suki your brother is feeling very guilty now, but to late. wow what a nice doctor your mum had.

I've been here since last october, but you know what i will not give up i will keep on trying even if we do have how bad days. we have to pick how self and dust how self down.

you guys are going 2 laugh at me:H i did a post, all ready today, but alas, its not here. but i'm positive it helped someone. it was about DST tonight, how we have one less hour to manage through. that in itself is a bright side to the picture. and spring is on its way; well at least somewhere. here in WI, it still doesn't look to promising. to everyone, i have thoughts about al quite frequently, i'm human. but i tell my stupid brain cells to delete those thoughts. and the battle continues; good brain cells vs. bad brain cells. i feel i'm winning the game, but the bad brain cells keep trying to go for the win. i need great cheerleaders and fans. :cheering. sorry sometimes i get on a tangent and can't stop. love you all and stay focused. gary
