Hope you feel better today Teardrop, I thought about your post yesterday, I also have a part of me that I don't like. But it IS a part of me that I need to make peace with,fighting does not seem to work anymore. Hope you had a restful night.

Hi All firerackers,

East BIG :l from me love you lots......Thank you im feeling a lot better, east please dont feel like you did it again! sometimes i come on here in the morning and see other threads and then come on firecracker later or maybe come on here first. That part we dont like is the part we have to control how thinking mind set. East you did not scare no one i think it just that time of year or month. LetS make this a successfull october we can all do this if we all put how minds together. Like i said today its funny we think life is getting better, but by drinking it get worst and takes us to a dark place well i want to get out of that DARK place im fed up of the way it making me feel.

I got to go to the school job now sooooo take care ALL firecrackers and have a nice day please stay strong and say NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Hi im fairly new around here but would love to join you guys for 30 day AF October.
I am on day 12 at the moment & cant remember the last time I have managed more than 2 days in a row so im feeling pretty good at the moment. But am also aware how easily it is to slip.

:goodjob: on your 12 days! I have been here almost a year and had quite a few days AF under my belt than before I joined,which was nil. Always have a block at day 4.

Good to hear from you Teardrop, we all have that dark side and it keeps surfacing every so often and we all use Al to escape. Loved your quote, we all will keep trying and thats the main thing. Welcome Whoosh, good job on the 12 days. I too am gearing up for an AF October so lets do this together.

Sorry I was AWOL but I have been having real problems with the computer but I am now back on line :upset: I have missed everyone BUT

I am now so happy to be here

Doing really well and feeling quite upbeat BUT i must loose some weight so its back on the express

Teardrop :l so pleased you are feeling so much better. We have all been having those off periods lately but WE WILL DO IT xx

East my good friend hope you are feeling better and not doing too much xx It is difficult to let the kids do it their way but you will always be there for your children no matter what you are such a wonderful mum xx

Thanks rustop i think as long as where trying its the main think.

Busy day today...... but i need to get extra work or another job ask tesco if there are any vacancy now or christmas time they said no they are not taking no one on.,

could not believe it, all there profits they have made the last six months they must be getting greedy like the banks. this year as been the worst year for finance wise for me i dont think we be having a holiday next year (could not get to sleep last night i know im worrying at the back of my mind) need to keep my head above water and think positive and pray thats all i can do. also not turn to AL because thats not going to help at all.

East i forgot to wish you a belated happy birthday my friend.

All Firecrackers have a good windy day in the uk and all other firecrackers hope your weather is as good as ours. (needed to put my vest on today plus t-shirt, v-neck jumper and my hooded sweater plus my jacket...You dont think im cold by any chance.

Belated Happy Birthday East. Welcome back Mad Mummy. Join the club we all seem to be in the same boat!! Start of another month and the beginning of another AF stretch. As I said the alternative is to go back drinking every day and I for one do not want to go back to that.

Made it through yesterday felt really low in myself and tired but it could be that i did not have a good sleep the night before. I DO LOVE THAT FEELING OF WAKING UP IN THE MORNING WITH A CLEAR HEAD ON MY SHOULDER.

Lots of enthusiasm around. On Day 3 and you are right Teardrop, it is great waking yup with a clear head. Why do we let Al talk us into the opposite?

Both my girls are doing up their bedrooms at the moment so it is organised chaos. The older one seems to have dust alergies so we are taking up the carpet in her room and putting down a wooden floor!! Then the other one jumped on the band wagon. Lots of painting and cleaning to be done but being busy is a good thing.

Sun is shining and have had a small walk. Have a great day everyone.
