Rustop... Glad your daughter party went well my son ws 16 in august wanted me to drive him up north with a friend to different skate parks. well we got to Leeds never again never seen soooooo many oneway roads when it was time to go could not get out of Leeds town centre. yep i was so

How the Halloween parties going i alway decorate my front porch my dog had a witch outfit she really look funny only took her a few doors down and back home because the noise of the firework scared her. Today on the radio they were thinking of funny names for dogs dressed up for Haloween, one of them was blair bitch .:H

My teeth hurts a little i have got braces and they have tighten them up had them for over two years paid most of it up the first year and a half ago, thank god. you dont notice them they are the see throught ones thank god again. but got use to them now, only got a few more months and they will be out for good.
Tomorrow will be my friend funeral, my daughter will be coming to support her friend feeling a bit scared you think i would be use to funeral by now been to so many. I know and i will be strong afterwards is in a pub, i will be driving i will not drink, but it the bit coming home where i know im going to feel weak with mix up emotions inside. Im going to make sure i see this through with a clear head on my shoulders and go along with my feelings and my emotions for once, instead of getting my head stuck in that bottle of wine.
plus my daughter is going to need my support that day as well.

Hi Everyone,
Not doing so well on the AF Front I have no idea why. I just know that last year this time was bad too and thats why I looked for help.
You are all such a great bunch and whenever I need a shoulder I feel that you are always there:l
Daughter is recovering slowly, scary though found a rope noose in her bedroom.
She is so emotionl( A lot like me) she is so young and good looking 6 ft and size 12. Geesh!!
Thanks for the tip about Hystersisters Evergreen found them before op. as I said earlier in the thread printed up the book they advertise brilliant saw me through. I feel physically a lot better, You are right I will think its the best thing I ever did!
FJJones Thanks for your well wishes, much appreciated.So sorry about your split, dealing with the same from son, daughter, neice and sister at the moment,as I said to them what does'nt kill you makes you stronger. I was divorced myself at 23 from first hubby that I married at 18,( only lasted a year )unlike the 28 years on this one. Keep going, when we let go of one relationship we make room for another:l
Teardrop My daughter had brace for 2 years well worth the trouble, she does not seem to follow the orthodontists recommendations, but thats down to her now. You keep going wish I had your guts! Dentists terrify me!!!!!

Thinking of you today Teardrop, stay strong. You never get used to funerals but at least you are going somewhat prepared by driving, just dont stop for the wine on your way back. Stress was one of my major triggers and I find now that MIL is no longer there in the background it feels that a huge burden has been lifted. This is the first xmas that I have been able to look forward to in years. Have had 20+ days AF in October and am aiming for an AF November. Have also lost nearly half a stone in weight. Not easy I have to admit and have to stay very focussed. I feel that we need to be in the right frame of mind when trying to doing anything and for those of you struggling, keep on trying.

East, glad you are feeling better physically and alcohol wise it will fall into place again for you. You did it before and can do it again. Sweetpea, hope all is going well with you. Patricia, Evergreen, Fjones, Lukalee and everyone else big hello.

Feel I need to get with the programme today, Just read your post Rustop, I have done it before so I CAN do it again. Fingers crossed for today.
TeardropThinking of you today. I don't think anyone" gets used" to Funerals. I hope that when you read this that everything went OK, It is so easy to reach for comfort in the wine bottle, but there is none there, I don't need to tell you that, I know. Stay strong, think of all the good times that you had with the person. I too have been to many funerals, Old and very young, I got through by thinking of all the good times I had with them.
Must catch up today, the house is a mess.

Hi All Checking in to say Hi and despite the boyfriend split I am at Day 7 and functioning a whole lot better although the PTSD is rearing its head today because am tired. No contact from the significant other but I also am managing no contact - so vital for a female to retain the self esteem and not be begging dont you think? Anyway must go as this is a quickie from work but will stay in touch. Hang on in there all.

Hang in there, not easy, but you will survive.

Hang in there Sweetpea and try and log on when you can. It's not easy when there are other people around but it does seem to help. There were times when I wasnt doing so well and when I read about others success it inspired me to try again. Aiming for an AF November. WE CAN DO THIS.
