The bit when RJ says about driving (on p79) where she simple lose track of momentarily of where she was going. Shit i have had that but i dont take the topiramate. when it happens it only last for a split second dont recongnize anything and when it happens on a roundabout it is even worst, i dont get it a lot but it is very frighten. Has anyone else experience this.
May be it a sign for me to STOP drinking.

Don't worry, everyone, if the are completely honest, has periods when they are driving where they cannot remember how they got to where they are at. VERY, VERY, scary, but true. Your brain is so programmed into doing certain tasks that you go on auto pilot.

I spent 3 weeks waiting for a speeding ticket once because I got to a certain point in my journey and thought SH** did I slow down for the speed camera!! Makes you go hot and cold thinking that you are in charge of car and cannot remember getting from A to B - and that is nothing to do with drinking as you know you are AF at the time of the incident

I have had that happen alot totally sober and have read somewhere that, yes, though a scary thought, it is really normal. think about all the things we have to do with that brain!! There are bound to be times things (just little things thank GOD) slip by.

But yep, Teardrop, the topa did do real tricks w/ me, I just speak for myself, (and maybe it was my imagination??) I said and typed things wrong, like dyslexia or something??!

Put my mind at rest. this has only started this year, only few occasions. i know what you mean about not remembering how to get to Ato B, it just not knowing where you are.

cowgal - i dont take topa only supp's. Dont worry i do it all the time and that is without taking any topa ( no hope for me)
