buckle,
hospice is a wonderful program and i am glad you and your granddad have access to it. I really do think the hospice workers are angels. Just remember, even when your granddad is not here physically, he is here spiritually. you will never lose the relationship, just the physical touch.
peace to you.

Buckle, I am so sorry. My dear sweet father went through hospice and I agree with Lucky; they are true angels. They find peace in dying when we cannot. I hope you will find that peace. I will be praying for you and your granddad.I'm really easy to get along with once people learn to worship me

Thinking of you and your family, Buckle...and especially your grandad.
May the road rise up to meet him
May the wind be always at his back
May the sun shine warm upon his face
May the rains fall soft upon his fields until you meet again
May God hold him in the palm of his hand
Suze xJust hand me the chocolate and.........I'll consider my position. My solicitor has advised me to say no more than that.

Buckle. Hospice is wonderful, as hard as what you are going through now, they will treat him with love and respect and make him a comfortable as he can be, allowing you to spend your time telling him how much you love him.
I went through this with my mom two years. It does hurt, but he will know how much you love him. Keep talking to him and telling him how much he means to you.
Please know that I, as well as everyone else here, will be thinking of you and praying for you and your grandfather today.
love, suki

Praying
Buckle, I have had the pleasure of working with Hospice during the past year, they are wonderful folks committed to quality of life even to the last moments. They will be there for you too, bereavement, please take advantage of that ... like others have said, they are angels. You and your grandfather are in my thoughts today. :h SuzThe more we appreciate life, the more life appreciates and bestows us with more goodness.

Hi Buckle,
Sweetpea is right -- your grandfather will always be with you in spirit. You will never lose that connection with him and so he will remain your rock.
Praying for you and your family today,

Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10
Buckle,
There's a story called "Footprints in the Sand" and it's about a man who at the end of his life looks at the footprints of his life and sees that throughout all of his experiences there's a double set of footprints showing God's companionship with him.
During the most trouble in his life, the most suffering, he sees there was only a single set of footprints. He said to God, "Why did you desert me in my most troubled times?" And God replies "I didn't desert you, I was carrying you."
I am so sorry to hear........this is such a sad time. My heart and prayers go out to you and your grandfather.
