    Metallic Taste

    Any one got any tips ideas to help with the metallic taste, which I believe has been mentioned before. I am still struggling to have my first day AF and alcohol seems to be the one thing that gets rid of it I am determined today is going to be my first day

      Metallic taste? Is this from Topa? Or do you always have a metallic taste?

      Need more info.

        not started topa as it hasn't arrived yet I think it maybe just the vitamins etc obviously no one else seems to get it, what do cravings feel like as this come on when i start wanting a drink

          Have you started taking antibiotics or antidepressants? If the metallic taste started after you started taking them, the taste may be caused by them. It would help us greatly if we knew how long you had the metallic taste in your mouth.

            supplements sometimes give you a metallic after taste if you don't drink enough water.
            this is usually a problem with heavy drinkers . When stopping drinking you forget to replenish fluids.
            I have to remember to drink almost 2 liters of water a day, otherwise I am parched and have a funny taste in my mouth.
            sometimes being dehydrated makes you anxious and your mouth gets dry.

            a lot of the symptoms from alcohol withdrawl are caused by dehydration
