Morning all!
I had problems with the campral too Tahlula. So far, I'm going it without meds.
Friday night has been my hardest time in the past. But this morning I'm feeling pretty good. We'll see what the afternoon brings..... but I'm NOT DRINKING!!!! No matter what.

I'm in also! Day 3 for me and it was a tough one. I can't even tell you all how many times I said to myself "I need a drink." But, I'm almost to the end of this day AF. Yeah!

One day at a time can some days turn into one hour at a time, or even one minute at a time. I'm feeling very grateful this evening and hope you all are hanging in there.

Back to day one for me. Good news though, my Naltrexone has arrived in Sydney, so I should get it this week!!!

Hello All, Tahlula sorry to hear about the slip (but that's all it is) we both know you just gotta get back up there and carry on!! The Naltrexone should help hugely too...

Average Joe, Keeper and Wonderworld you all sound like you are doing ok which is great.

Cuckoo, I know how well you have been doing of late. I am sorry to read that you are having a hard time of late.....You have got a good number of days already under your belt, so if you really are tempted to drink pull on all your reserves and lessons learnt from your recent AF days to try to pull you through. xxx

Doing the math....

Day 22 for me.

I'm on Campral - upset my tummy too, but definitely took away cravings so I am living with it.

Tahlula, your comments about the $$ made me do the math....I'm day 22AF (3 weeks). I drank boxed wine (avoids clanging of bottles in the trash); each box equals 4 bottles of wine. I drank about two and one-half boxes per week, or the equivalent of 10 bottles a week. Each box cost $18. So, in 22 days I would have drank (drunken....ha ha) 7 1/2 boxes, which would have cost $135.

To reward myself for being AF, I got a 1 1/2 hour massage the other day - it cost $70 (inlcuding tip), so as a result, I feel great, am ahead $65, did NOT drink the equavalent of 30 botttles of wine (OMG) and I haven't been sluggish or had a hangover in 22 days! :eeks:

It has arrived!

Hello gorgeous people. Thank you for the positive comments, and that is it! Turn it all into a positive from now on.

The revia arrived today, that was quick. So, now I just have to do some research and find out how much to take & when etc....

I am going to take that with the kudzu & other supps. Gee, to face this thing..... honestly, I would be better off to be AF forever I think. The cd's should arrive soon, so I am armed, arn't I!
