Actually, I never JUST took the supplements. I started the supps and Naltrexone at the same time. The Naltrexone does something very specific that the supps cannot do for you. It makes it so that you cannot get buzzed/high off of alcohol. You can still drink on it, but it won't make you feel happy, talkative, or in a party mood. You just get relaxed/tired from alcohol. So, there is not that impulsiveness to drink more and more. Some people still try to drink past the Naltrexone. I've never tried that. I did get into the game of conveniently skipping it sometimes. And, it doesn't work so well then. LOL
Anyway, I've had no side effects from it except the first time you take it, you may feel tired/stoned so its good to take your first pill either before bed one night or sometime when it would be OK to nap if you need to. Other than that, no side effects afterwards. I don't know why the side effect just w/the first pill. It is shutting down your opiad (sp?) receptors in your brain and maybe some residual chemicals are released through this process? I don't know, but it really just is w/the first pill because I never feel tired otherwise.
