So managed 4 days AF, including Christmas day and really blew it yesterday. A bottle of champagne and more than half a bottle of wine.

Ali, it's a learning process, lots of us have slips it's part of recovery. Brush yourself down,
don't beat yourself up and start again. You can do it. Sobriety is worth the struggle.

Naltrexone effects

This has been my calmest Xmas ever. Started Nal 2 weeks ago after yrs on Campral. Campral helped (long periods of ABs) but Nal has completely wiped out my desire for AL (so far). It's nothing short of weird.
Sight of Xmas: woke up @ 5.00am to find my B-in L drinking a beer!!?
Not phased at all.
Merry Post-Xmas all.

Thanks Paula. The days that I did AF were the happiest days I have had in years.Until my boss told me I was lying. Didn't believe that I had gone 7 days AF. It's taken my sister two years to figure out I need help. God forbid my brother who sexually abused me as a kid would consider contacting me, "how else am I going to learn about sex" he kept saying.

I am so looking forward to 2008. It's going to be my time. Screw the family.
