New here - Starting Today
I used Campral for some time. I've read that you need to be AF for several days before you start on it. It worked for me until I relapsed several times, then it became seemed to become ineffective. The literature I've read seems to indicate that this is usually true. I'm now using topamax long term and some librium to detox, but that's cuz i am a very serious alcohol addict and need the librium for detox. Most people would not. It can only be taken short term, as it is addictive itself, and not to be trifled with. My doc 30 days worth and NO MORE! You sound excited and positive, and I'm sure the Campral will work for you. It has helped many, many people on this site as I've read, I just messed up my own use of it.
