I found this website a couple of days ago and it seem to be perfect for me. For the past two years I have been drinking way too much. Knocked myself out after heavy arguments with my husband. This happens aprox. 3-4 times a month-----some would probably say.....well, thats not too often, but its the way I do it. I know perfectly well its bad for me, that it doesnt change a bit......its even worse after I got drunk. And I kind like "sneak" it.......I go on a bike ride.......end up at the liquor store, buy a small bottle of wodka (sometimes two....just in case), come home and while Im cleaning, washing etc. have one swig after the other until my husband "finds out" and I than and up in another bad fight....."this time I dont suck anything he says, now I let my anger out" which is even worse. Of course I end up beeing the "bad guy" next morning. So now he is in a "pool position" because now he makes all our problems look like they just have ONE reason, ME DRINKING!!!!!
Anyway, I realize that I do have a problem and I have to do something about it. I want to control my drinking and no longer be controlled from Mr. Smirnoff.
I read the book and Im a bit confused about 1. the Topomax (whether I need it or not), 2. the nutritions (the book recommends certain nutritions but what about the SAME and the GABA in the health-store of this Site). Can anybody tell me whether I can subsitute the Topomax with SAME and/or Gaba....
