    Hi Catnip-

Welcome! Like others, I can rationalize that I wasn't really drinking "that much" when I stopped- I wasn't stirring it into my morning coffee (yet), nor was I starting happy hour at lunch time- but something in my soul warned me that I needed to SLOW DOWN, and my biggest fear when I stopped was that I would NEVER get to drink again.

I'm young at this AF stuff- first time (other than pregnancies) that I've made a conscious decision to stop drinking. After 2 months, I'm proud of my sobriety. I don't know if it will be forever, but for now, I've got to stay alcohol-free~ for me.

I didn't really drink because I was mad, or because there were major problems in my life- I just drank at night because that's what I wanted to do. I'm starting to take more supplements and vitamins, and once I feel in control, I may change my mind... then again, I might not.
