    Exactly a reason why I drink....

    okay I have been fighting the thought of drink all day and this is so not helping my situation. It is now 4pm my kid has not checked in and has been out of school for an hour now and we live one block from the school! Detntion had better be his excuse and even that adds more stress and fighting at home when dad gets home and finds out he got detebtion I see it coming already...Give me strength to get past this situation....

    Exactly a reason why I drink....

    I don't know what to tell you other than this. Drinking isn't going to make your kid come home, nor is drinking going to make your husband not get mad if he had detention. Drinking will not make you feel better, you will just get mad at yourself.

    Do some deep breathing, clean out a closet, something to keep you busy!

      Exactly a reason why I drink....

      Thanks Deena Kiddo called detention it was. I knew he had a blue slip yesterday but did not know a blue slip meant a detention so ahhhh relaxing breath he is home and safe and I told hubby so there will be no fighting later either cross my fingers and my toes. Hey I am sure my shoe closets can use some attention great idea, my husband is tired of my shoes taking over every corner of our house that is anotehr addition I have and well frankly I think it is a good one!!!

            You CAN do this! if you look carefully, you can start to see some of the triggers that start you drinking; and slowly if you can isolate them and stop letting them actually trigger your drinking, you will win the battle. You have to believe you are worth it! YOU not anyone else. Just as no one else can quit drinking for you, no one else can force you to drink.

              YES BHOG I agree with trying to look and see what triggers my drinking and that is what I am going to do very closly examine what is gong on around me when I have that urge to drink. ((HUGS))
