when l was seeing someone about my drinking and my past,,, she give me this and when am down and feel like giving up l l read this

l have been victimised
l was in a fight that was not fair
l did not ask for the fight. l lost.
There is no shame in losing such a fight, only in winning.
l have reached the stage of survivor and am no longer a slave of victimisation.
l look back with sadness rather then hate.
l look forward with hope rater then despair.
l may never forget, but l need not constantly remember.
l was a victiam.
l am a survior.
