ODAT - Saturday!

Morning Bessie and all to come!! Bessie - you sound like a woman possessed!!!!! You are definitely on a mission today!!! I'm hoping some of that enthusiasm will rub off on me!!! Have had a really lovely half term but feel quite flat today - paperwork to do with Power of Attorney for mam, and sad thoughts about Dad have come from nowhere......going to get out into the garden ......or maybe, some retail therapy. Had a drink (or three last night) so have had a drink most nights this week - determined to get some AF days under my belt soon. Physically it catches up with me and I feel awful.

Have a good day everyone and Bessie, whats with the big girl pants??? Where do they fit into the programme???

Well done Greeneyes, have you got yours nice and tight with a belt? Cos I've lost mine somewhere between here and a second hand shop...or is that bottle shop?

Can't keep up with you Bessie, but its 7:30 a.m. on east coast USA and I have done....2 loads of laundry, changed the sheets on the bed, cleaned two bathrooms, vaccumed all my floors, dusted my house, made hubbys lunch for work, and made a big ole' pot of spaghetti sauce!!!.....gonna go to work soon, just to get a little rest!!!.....

LOL! Janice - Big Girls Pants (BGPs) are all Greeneye's doing. There lies the blame. I had posted a major whinge - making myself sound like a spoilt little rich girl. "I haven't got enough time to ride my horsey, my property development plans are so slow, I just don't know which tiara to wear to the ball, run out of caviar...." that kind of thing. In one sentence Greeneyes bought me well and truly back to earth. "Put on your big girl's pants". I have taken it, rightly or wrongly, as a metaphor for 'get a grip', or even an alternative for 'girding your loins'! "Grow up" I think was the subtext!

So the BGPs are not literal but are now an invaluable tool in the AF toolkit!

Hi all, been very busy this week.
Academy Awards tomorrow............I'm shutting myself in my house, the guys have to get their own dinner......I'm in after 3 pm. Love looking at the gowns and giving my opinion!

Busy day today. Have to buy a gown to watch the Academy Awards! Just kidding.

Hi everyone

Wow, Bessie, you are like a whirlwind!! I only have to feed dogs, cat and rabbits and I find that enough of a task. How do you find the cd's? I must admit I have not listened to them in a while. Must take them out again and give them a go.

Have had a busy day in the garden and just back from the garden centre. Bought some nice plants. I got somebody in the help with the heavy digging so things are well under way. I feel I am on a roll at the moment. Long may it last!!

Sweetpea approached me about possibly starting a MWO, weight watchers, so to speak........I think I'd like to try it especially if it works the way MWO has for my consumption!

LOL - loving the big girl pants - where the hell do you buy those in Canada? I think sometimes I need some - I'm so damn busy I need to put on some big girl pants, relax and just chill!!!!
Missing you guys - I'm trying hard to catch up since I was pretty much MIA for almost a week - finally I am starting to catch up at work so hoping to be able to post more.......

But I'm still here loving you all!

Bessie - glad to see you back starting the posts - no offense green - loved yours too, was just worried about Bess there for a couple of days - no more MIA for you Bess, you scare us!
