    Hey Straight

    Thank you for the PM yes lets start all over together race you to see who clocks up the most days AL free slip ups are excused as long as they dont last more than 2 days . By the way I cant stop singing that bloody song what was his meaning behind those lyrics to "walking in a straight line", I know slap me around with a wet lettuce I am hopless with lyrics. and coming from a muso too. Hope you are well can i adopt you as my sober buddy:H got a lot in common 6 year olds for starters lol:upset:

    Re the meaning, I recon Dan (ooh you're not Dan are you, pfft!) was just singing about being powerful and in a positive place after struggling, actually here is Wiki's interpretation:
    "Straight Lines" is generally a positive and upbeat song. The song is about feeling alone in the world, but making it through tough times and overcoming them. This is illustrated in the lyrics such as "Lately I'm a desperate believer, but I'm walking in a straight line" and "There's no changing yesterday...everything will be fine". The song's meaning appears to be a biographical comment from lead singer Daniel Johns who fought anorexia, clinical depression and reactive arthritis in the late nineties and early millennium, and was able to beat them. It also appears to be about being content with your place in life, thus walking in a straight line.

          I'm doing "OK". Not good.

          Decided to stop hiding today and returned frantic messages from my friends, saw another this morning was there for a few hrs talking and stuff, being very honest.

          Still drinking - sorry Danny I suck, I will try Day One - tomorrow I swear. Maybe my 2-in-a-row-slips are the past two days which makes us equal????

              Yeah I dont suck...I've been told that about a dozen times already by my friends today, yet I still use the term.

              Okey, this is the plan, my good friend is coming over tomorrow for dinner to make sure I finish my last bottle of wine.

                Bugger,
                I already did partners birthday bought her a bottle of wine for dinner and have had a glass hope to leave it at that! So we are even stevens together tommorrow forward and onward buddy I know we will do this thing
