          No, I didn't take it as glib at all. I think we'd be amazed what would come out if our livers, hearts, kidneys, etc could actually talk!!

            Any research on how and if liver recovers much if booze stops??? suppose it depends how much damage has been done already.

            another reason to moderate!!

              It's amazing how the liver can actually heal. Of course, that's not always the case.......but it can recover.
              At times, I get really concerned when I think of how many years I've been abusing mine and how much worse it is for women...I'm a petite person and can just imagine how my liver must suffer...UGH!
              BUT! It's never too late to make a change! Hopefully, my latest attempts at 'cutting back' my intake and by working out hard, will make a difference!

                Cassey, the liver can recover as long as it is not cirrhotic.
