    Ok, I have tied my shoe laces together to ensure I take baby steps today.........Its going to be a LONG day at work! But nevermind, I am here for the long hall............March Madness!!............damn it, where my post-its?

              Ok! I gotta tell everyone! Mrs. BHOG & I went to a favorite resturant/private club last night, and I had taken a few of my "Free Pass" tickets from yesterdays postems. no sooner had we sat down than here comes ALice Tini wanting to sit with us. I gave her one of my free passes..she looked at it and grumbled, then left. Appitizers arrived, and Ms. Char D'Oneey and her freind Pinot No'ir (they both claim to be French but I detected some California accent) wandered by and said that ALice though I might need some company! I looked at Mrs BHOG, smiled, and said, no I had all the company I wanted for the evening, and then gave them each thier very own copy of the "Free Pass". they both said something in English which I cannot post on this thread, and left us alone for the rest of a very plesant evening!
              So all is well and...most importantly...I DID IT! YIPPEE!

                  Bald Headed Stud Muffin, I am so proud of you! I can see the whole thing happening, and you stayed true to Mrs BHOG.... how wonderful!

                  As for Stillettos, I have a confession: I normally work around semi trucks, and I normally wear my steel-toed Red Wing boots.... if I'm seen around a semi in stillettos, I'm afraid I'd be mistaken for a LOT LIZARD! :wow:uch::nutso:

                    Funny Not Happy Hour!! Yeah, I'd be DEAD in heels!! Wearing jeans so have boots on too.......can't tie together as they zip up..............BUT still taking the baby steps, carefully as it is Friday, and w/ weekend approaching I sometimes forget how to walk!!??

                    BHOG good job on telling all the ALices to "take a hike!" Bet Mrs. BHOG is happy too!!

                      NHH-HL, yeah stillitos areound truck drivers...yep, lot lizard for sure.. And I am not sure saftey committee will be happy with the steel toe boot laces tied together! But maybe you can charm them into not writing you up!
                      Yes, when we got in the car to drive away, I commented how unusuall that all felt..normally I'd knock down a couple martinis, then we would order wine --2, maybe three bottles...then an after dinner drink...then I'd drive home.."Jeez, how did I do that?" and her comment was, "you don't have a drop of AL in you, and I am so proud of you!" Talk about support! YES!

                        A Hot LOT Lizard seen wearing 4 1/2 inch steel toe stilettos heading South out of the Tampa area with 19 Semi Trucks on her tail .... Traffic backed up all the way into the Sarasota area ... News at 6

                        Suzanna - I'm agree with MM on this one - for some strange reason day 5 is a strange one to jump. I suggest you tell someone close to you what you are doing and have them drag you through it. They are going to have to be right with you. Just a suggestion. You can do it -

                        MM - Yeah! Rex is out the door and you are going to have a great weekend! Take it easy - sending hugs and a massage!

                        greenhouse1 - so great so see you - keep your sticky note near and baby step it baby!

                        RN - "Stick it to em" "keep your postie in your pocket" keep taking your own temp. - you CAN do it - then the rest of the weekend is RELAXATION time - not drinking time!

                        Larua - Line up all your post um notes and review - one week of madness down! Progress is being made girl!

                        Cowgirl - I saw the some pretty pink cowgirl boots - in the baby shoes - they didn't have ties - but they were baby shoes for your baby steps!! You can have them!

                        Everyone else - Keep checking in - You can get through this madness- one day at at time. It won't always be madness.                           Thanks Liv, Cowgal, MM, I am doing okay now and just about to take the rest of the kudzu I brought with me to work. The people that I need to drag me through this is, yep, YOU GUYS!! Sorry, but I mean the collective all, whoever is in chat tonight, to get me through the night. I saw on another thread that Di is at day 5 too, so I know I am not alone at this particular milestone. You guys are the bomb-diggidy!!
