Glass Kat,

Why?? Because our middle brains, the survival brain, is telling us we need to drink. It is truly that simple. We have messed up lots of chemicals in the brain and they are "calling" to us.

You are not alone and you are not without help.

Read, especially read RJ's book which speaks to supplements you can buy to "help" (no magic bullet, though) and you can beat this thing.

It's great to have a place to be open and understood. Thanks for the welcome. I've got the book and the Kudzu and motivation. Now I just need to keep my plan in action, and follow through. Glad to be here. Kat

ODAT - Tuesday

Still here and keeping it together -I think tonight will be two full weeks.

I'm glad.

Amazingly I think at least part of my craving for the drink around suppertime has to do with the fact that I don't consume hardly any liquids all afternoon. STUPID. So my craving was at least partly thirst related. I'm drinking a large OJ on ice at 4 pm that fixes the thirst and gives some sugar, it's helping.

The headache left Sunday.

I have a social event next week that has me a little worried, but the last few days I've felt so much more clear headed that it gives impetus to continue AF.
