    Who will join me?

I might like to do this. So far I haven't really had any deep thoughts about quitting...I've just done it. I'm thinking maybe I should start thinking and not just existing. It'll be a fight for me to contribute, so bear with me. And I'm not sure I'm ready for anyone to count on me...I've been flitting around a lot and being silly as protection.

So anyway, I'd like to try.

Thanks everyone and I'm sure if we all pull together as a team we can do it.

Count me in too. I just passed my 30 days AF on the 5th (so have 36 today). I have had a very good experience in going af. I feel SO much better, about everything!! However, I would love to get some insight from others regarding their longevity. Thanks.

            Who will join me?

            I'm In

I'm In! I am 3 1/2 months Smoke Free and 71 days Alcohol Free and am excited to be venturing out! I am interested FALLEN to hear more your quitting smoking education. I am going to look up that web site. I quit smoking from 1997 to 2004 and then smoked for 4 years quitting this past November - and also feel I now need to understand WHY I went back and why the Alcohol and Nicotine link together. I also feel I'm ridding myself of the last addiction so am nervous as to what I might addict to in place of these!!!!! IKES

Looking forward to the wisdom of those who are further down the road! Thanks
            Liv
PS - I don't go to AA - I am more like FALLEN in my views on that - I like to call my self a non drinker now. I am very into reprogramming my mind to believe I am not an addict. (any longer)
AF since Jan. 1, 2008 .... It all began right here

              Who will join me?

Hi all, count me in. Have been sober for quite a while now, well I say quite a while, I mean quite a while for ME - lol. I have been struggling for the past week or so with the cravings and the consuming thoughts so YES let's go for it, a week of support is what I need. Power to us.

                  Who will join me?

                  Hi John,
I've been AF for the past 12 days and now am keen to join you for the journey to be AF for the next one week.
                  This should be a cinch!!!
And Angel, your story resonates with my personal situation. I've quit smoking 14 months ago, after being a pack-a-day smoker for 20 years and am in the frame of mind to apply the lessons learnt, now to quit booze.
                  Let's stay sober
