    The Sober apartment,

    Basicly.
I have to remain alcohol and drug free (random urine tests are performed)
I have to follow a few basic rules,
    1.Pay rent on time.
2.Keep the place the way I found it.
3.No guests with alcohol or under the influence.
    4.Be a good neighbour.
    5. (this is the one rule I hate NO PETS)
    6.no overnight visitors without approval.
    Thats about it.
I pay my own electricity and they pay water, sewer and rubbish pick up.
I can stay there as long as I want although I have already decided that when I get finacialy on my feet I hope to find a house to rent that has a yard so I can grow my own vegetables.
Mainly I think with the good wage I make it would be the right thing to do to give someone who may not have the finances a place to stay.
It seems to be the right thing to do.
    Love,
    John S.

    The Sober apartment,

Welcome, John! What a wonderful, upbeat attitude you add to this forum.... thanks for coming here. As for your Sober apartment, it certainly sounds like it has the formula for a happy home (sans puppy).... Take care! :l

        The Sober apartment,

Thank you for sharing this information with us, John. I must admit that "Sober Living Apartments" is something that I only recently became aware of. It sounds like a great idea for those that have just left the intensity of a long rehab program.

I hope, one day soon, you do get that house with a yard. Growing veggies is so theraputic.....not to mention delicious!

Then you can have your dog too!! So much to look forward to!!!

Do stuffed animals count as pets?
