    Cindi's Back from Detox

    My dear MWO friends.

    I could not seem to stay sober the day before the antabuse.

    I took matters into my own hands, walked into the hospital, told them I needed to detox so I could start Antabuse.

    I was in for 3 or 4 days (can't remember, you know how those drugs are) and here I am.

    I took the Antabuse before I walked out.

    Today starts the first day of the rest of my life.

    btw, the psych also put me on Gabapentin. She said it was a non-addictive anti-anxiety med.

    I am scared, excited and depressed all at once but I did what I needed to do.

        Wow!! That is great!! You did what you needed to do, and here you are, with the rest of your life waiting for you to enjoy!!!

                    Cindi, you really did that? OMG you are strong and really want change. You will succeed this time around. Gabapentin is what i was given in rehab and i still take it. Hope everything works out. :h

                          WOW!! I applaud you!! I drank four glasses of wine the night I started Antabuse...that was the best I could do...

                          Hey, I am now almost through day 17 on this stuff...that is just incredible for me. AND, I am feeling really, really good.

                          Yes, you are about to start your new life!!! You totally rock!
