    Good for you Miim!

    Sometimes when I say I am going AF, i dissapoint myself when I slip, so setting moderation goals are easier, and doable!!! Hopefully the days will add up!

            I'm with e trying to not disappoint myself so moderation is a bit easier but as Thankful said in another post Alcohol is a depressant and its hard to be happy when depressed!!! Moderation is not so bad??!!:l

              Any little change for the good is GOOD. Isn't amazing how we forget how good we feel the morning after without the drinking? That should be incentive enough, but some of us keep going back anyway. I try to think of each day AF as a new "this is the first day of the rest of my life." If cutting back is your goal, then any day you've cut back is a good day. Keep it up. Good luck!

                Miim,

                Woke up today after my first AF free day yesterday. I felt great! I'm not able to moderate right now but I'm hoping someday I can. Like the MWO book said, I'd like to think of alcohol the same way as I think of butter. It's nice sometimes, but I don't always need it. Or want it. Take care.
