Different approach from AA

I have really enjoyed reading all the posts here, what an inspiration.

How wonderful to find a different attitude to AA.
I want the support AA offers but find it impossible to spend so much time in meetings talking about the one thing I don't want to have to think about - Drinking.
Also - I do not subscribe to the 'god' thing.

I am so pleased to find a different approach here.
Plan to spend lots of time reading all your stories.

Hey New

I am very new to the site but like you I am so glad I found it. I have been doing AA on and off for years and just don't buy into the whole program.

I am on day five here -- but for the past five days I actually have gone to a number of AA meetings in addition to hanging out a lot on MWO. I will say that having the site may be the difference this time for me between failure and success!! Good luck .
