Why am I always the drunk one?

Hi new to this but I have wondered for a long time about part of my problem. I seem to get drunker than most people do on the same amount of alcohol. Can a person be allergic to alcohol. I do realize that at times I drink way too much but so do other people. While most other people just get feeling good I get smashed and cannot remember anything from a certain point. I have always been like this from the very beginning of my drinking career. Has anyone else experienced this?

May be low body fat contributes? I have had a few experiences getting drunk rapdily and it seems to be when I've been eating very healthy. Not enough fat in the bloodstream to slow down the absorbtion has been my theory. Caffeine effects me the same way. Heavy dinner and the next morning no issues with caffeine but if I eat a lean dinner and start drinking coffee before finishing breakfast I'm buzzed in a few minutes.

I saw your other post about night sweats. I get them along with an elevated heart rate when I drink too much wine.
