          NEWBIE! HEEELP!

Sorry to say Dixie, I'm a Brit in disguise - we've been here 10 years so maybe I can be an honorary South African. And yes, it is freezing here!! What with power cuts & gas shortages that are due to come, keeping warm will take a whole new agenda. I just hope they are going to be ready for the baby boom hitting before the end of the year! lol

Anyway, you sound very up beat!! Well done, especially with that wine in the fridge. My first job was to get a dry house. Hubby frowned, but if he wants wine in the evening he will get some for himself. As he regularly works late and is away alot, I don't have to sit and think 'yes or no'. Also, with the kids in bed I can't just go and get some so it's like a 7pm watershed. "Too late now, honey!! Stuck with no access!!" Suits me!!

          Keep well & take care

            NEWBIE! HEEELP!

Tks for all the kind words. Am feeling gutted at the mo. I rescued 3 abandoned newborn kittens 2 days ago. The 1st died last night, the 2nd just now. Feel like shit and a fucking failure AGAIN BUT WILL NOT TOUCH A FUCKING DROP OF IT!

Anyway, am shattered so off to bed with "The Book" to read. Hope you all have a good night/day wherever you are. Its so great to just release all this built up frustration/guilt/feeling ashamed.

                  NEWBIE! HEEELP!

Good morning Dixie. I'm sorry about the kittens. You just got to them too late!! You did your best - thats all anyone can do! I agree about sharing the burden of guilt & shame. It feels better knowing you are not alone with trying to deal with this Beast!! If you feel fragile & spooked - thats fine. Read the boards - there are so many familiar stories/situations. Take the positive energy & redirect it to yourself. You deserve it!!!

                  Take care & talk soon
