Matt-- please discard the rest of what alcohol you have in your home. Grab something to eat, even if it is toast. Pound back a big glass of cold water. Go and lay down for a while......

You have to stop drinking in order to start feeling better.

I was where you were last night, it is hard to stop once you've started drinking. Take a nap and dump out the booze.

thanks accountable, well, i do have to walk the dog soon so that is a break in the boozing action. and then i think that i will go to bed. Only 2 in the afternoon, but i guess that is what we drunks do. At this moment, i hate myself. thanks for the message.

Don't hate yourself. I was where you are just a few days ago..... I understand what you mean by it being hell.

Getting some fresh air will help, just be careful if you are drunk when walking out there.

When you get home, dump out the booze and take a nap. Who cares if it is 2pm.... it will make you feel so much better and you can start your journey again when you awake.

I hope that you took the advice from the others and dumped the booze and then took a nap. You have to toughen up and decide to plow through the next 24 hours. Don't give in to AL. It will only prolong the problem into tomorrow!

Matt, I don't think I can add to the strategy except a nap will do you so much good, and then dump out the rest of the booze. Don't hate yourself, you are a worthwhile person and you can feel good and healthy again very soon.
