Hey Bill,
I was completely exhausted for a week--only gradually felt my energy returning the second week. I wasn't drinking quite as much as you, so you can probably expect to be pretty tired for a bit. Please indulge your need for rest. I have always been astounded at the amount of punishment our bodies put up with from us and how they immediately cry out for what they need when we stop putting alcohol in our bodies! Almost like they know better than to even protest while we're drinking, cause we won't listen!
Anyway, you are doing great! You are amazingly strong....Hang in there! We continue to be with you on your journey. I'm glad it is getting a little easier, bit by bit!
Hugs,
Kathy

There is No formal sign up. Just go to the main page and look for the April Abs Log...i think it is about 3 or 4 down. Anyway, you just post how your day is going, what your thoughts are and such! Postings can be done each day or however much you are comfortable with!
Great job, you can do this! The first week is the hardest! (well for me anyway...there are different stages, sorry)
Hang tough, your doing great!

Hey Bill !!
Day 4 and things are going very well for me. Didn't sleep but an hour or two last night but no cravings at all. Calms Fort did nothing.
Feel like I'm coming out of a light fog of some kind.
Bought myself a present today. New bedding !. After 3 days of detoxing , sweating and dry heaves I thought I deserved it.
No more detox symtoms today
How's You

My favorite recipe for sleeping:
Before bed:
Change bed.
Take bath or shower.
Take evening meds / supps & add 3 mg Melatonin
Melatonin is available on Vitamin aisle of grocery....non addictive and non narcotic, RJ mentions in program of supps.
Listen to clearing CD. Put in sleep CD on very low volume.
Turn off lights and go for it.
Works for me, YMMV.
