Morning all Wednesday ODATers! Wishing you all a great day.

Got a fair bit to do today (when have I not?!) but the weather is good, sunny and a bit cool but dry so it will help.

Really need to have a blitz on one of the holiday cottage gardens as it's horribly overgrown. Did have a gardener to do it but he is ill so it''s down to me until I can find a new one. Plus trying to get my own garden back into some half decent shape after a year of neglect. I have opted to have as many wildlife friendly (eg weeds) areas in it as possible! :H:H Haven't taken a peek into the paperwork box recently either - wonder what nasty surprises are lurking in there??!! It is a pink A4 box and everything goes in there until I can find time to work through it. Or until it's so full that the lid won't fit anymore and I have to do something about it!

Oh well. None of this will make me drink today. I had a few hassles and irritations yesterday and all that did was strengthen my resolve not to drink. And it worked. It will again today.

I'm with you Bessie! If we don't manage to mow the lawn soon we will surely get an "ugly yard" warning from the town watchdogs. Seriously - you get a fine or something. I find some slight comfort in the fact that the next door neighbor's yard is as bad. Also, I have nasty surprises in the hole, as in unpaid bills. Someone told me my cell phone was cut off. I didn't even know. I have to admit I secretly thought "oh, goodie!" :H That thing is like a ball and chain for the most part. Well, it's pretty much the middle of the night here so I can't say it's a gorgeous day ouside, but I'm happy to be alive and well. I have a home, a job, a husband that loves me and all my faults, a daddy that adores me... so life is good and I shall respect it as best I can ODAT.

Good Mornine Everyone..
It really is good to log on and find everyone so positive this morning. I really am finding that so much more soes get done when i am AF. Not really liking the being responsible for it all thing, but I guess someone has to be.

Hi Everyone!

It is finally going to be sunny again and 67 degress here in Minnesota. Everyone gets so excited when the weather is nice after such a cold and rainy spell. My dogs are really jazzed as well. I made it through another day of AF so I am now back to 4 and shouldn't have any problems with day 5.

To all in the UK...You will be proud to know that a cow named Chilli from Somerset that is 6 feet 6 inches tall has made many of the U.S. stations as the largest cow in the UK. They just finished a pretty long interview on The Today Show (probably the most popular morning show in the U.S.). As a farm raised person, I can confirm that it is huge! Bessie...maybe you could go for the next record!

D-22

ODAT has helped get me to D-22, after 30 yrs it is nearly unfathomable to me to be AF for that long. We are supposed to get some nice weather here in the NW US, so the garden/yard will be getting some attention. Funny how many find ______ (your word here)
in the garden. From rot/compost to edibles and beauty. Ooops almost had a Disney moment there. Our 11 yr old is going camping with her oldest sister and family this weekend. After 30 nyrs of marriage,we will be left alone, what ever will we do to fill the time?? Today is going to be a _________ day.

It's looking like a beautiful day (finally) and I too have a "fair lot" of work to do. Bought my herbs for my new herb garden yesterday. Going to get those taters and Walla wallas planted today!!

Had a really nice lunch with my friend yesterday. We've kinda been mending fences since she and her husband divorced. A work in progress. We always have so much in common when we visit. It's much better when there is no AL invited!:yuk:

Hello~BessFull, i am a dedicated Odater to you..OLIVE is our new addition -- TOY poodle..piddle pads are on the grocery list now along with all the other pet stuff us nuts do to stay sober! Just can't make her fat like me. Gonna try some yard work tonite and prepare my redneck area for outdoor dining with christmas lights, planters and candles where we hang out when the weather is nice. NO mowing for Ripples, mother-in-law does all the yard work!

OLIVE is sleeping on the bed with a slipper and piddle pad. :l
