Hello
Seacailin,
The great thing about posting here is that you can say what ever you want and no one will judge you at all! If you are depressed and down on yourself, writing what you are feeling and why you are feeling that way will help you a lot. You will also find that there will be someone here that has a similar situation and problem and will most likely give you some comfort or good advice.
I too had many days that I got so drunk the night before that I couldn't make it out of bed the next day. I felt like a loser and that I was letting everyone down because I let AL take control and he got the best of me! My best story is when I went to a meeting after having an entire bottle of vodka in the morning and a close business associate pulled me aside and said that I stunk like booze! I went into a shell for about 3 days and kicked the crap out of myself. Very nonproductive. But luckily I found this site and discovered that I was actually a pretty normal person that has a problem that can be fixed or at least managed. I have been alcohol free (AF) for 30 out of the last 40 days and feel great. I had a little slip in the middle but readjusted to get back on plan.
Hope to hear from you soon...Case

Hello
Seacailin,
First off, :welcome:.
Secondly, the supps do help but they will not keep you from drinking. They simply make not drinking easier.
Have you read the book? It is not expensive and can be downloaded from the site. That would be a good place to start.
Glad you are here and keep posting and reading. I have had many, many days of sobriety since joining MWO. Some bad slips and some bad relapses but prior to joining MWO, I drank every day, all day, to black out.
If this program can help me, it can help anyone.

Hello
Hi Seacailin, yes the supps help and after a few AF days you feel pretty amazing (unlike me today) Make it easier on yourself & get all the help you can from this site...supps, the book, the friends and I have the hypno cds also which I love because for me, the phsychological addiction is as much/more than the physical one.
PS Love your intro - I love it when someone gets there point across without any fuss
