Morning lovelies!

Welcome to the Friday ODAT thread. It needs a kick to get us flying into the weekend, happy and sober and positive, with our biggest pants on :grannypants: and our best kick arse attitude firmly implanted in our brains!!!

I enjoyed a really fab meal out with friends - I had a few glasses of wine (hubby's turn to drive, especially after carpeting the house with muesli the day before!!) and really enjoyed being able to drink moderately with good food. Drinking socially (or not drinking socially) is so much easier for me than drinking at home.

Got a day of 'stuff' to do and a weekend of more 'stuff'. Collecting a dozen fat lambs on Sunday - that's where the fun begins! (rolls eyes!) :baaah: I love sheep but they can be so difficult to handle and die at the drop of a hat. Luckily none of ours have ever been that anti social but you do need to keep a close eye on them! So we're moving on from pig sex stories (though hope to be returning to that subject in a couple of weeks!!) and onto escaping sheep stories (not toooo many I hope!) Baaaahhhhh!

Looking forward to your sheep stories. Have to say I've had a few run in's with them. We live in sheep country so dogs always have to be on leads and under control. However, have met them (the sheep) in the places where they should not have been, car parks, in the middle of the woods!!! I was putting the dogs in the car one day and the goldie jumped out as a flock of sheep ran by. They all ran towards the main road and I had a vision of this flock of sheep plus dog running out in front of a jeep - carnage!! She thought it was great fun but luckily when I yelled sit, she sat in the middle of them and I got her back to the car.

was yesterday, that's the reason I've not been around. Feeling too sad to say much.

I've found this week a struggle with kids at home, its not really my forte and the kids haven't been in the best of moods. In fact I feel like walking away at the mo. If its not the 2 year old whining its my boys fighting or complaining they are bored. Whatever I suggest they don't want to do......
Anyway trying to start again today with AF. Thank goodness we can start again eh?

Yeah we're fairly deep in sheep around here as well. They are quite the most stupid creatures it is true - although had lambs escape a few years ago and one managed to get up on some bales and across onto the bonnet of my car! It was doing some kind of tap dance when I found it and the damage was quite something. Enjoy eating them though! Sorry if that offends any veggies etc...

I'm into restarting again and today is Day 2 AF but has done nothing for my patience levels and walking away from the 4 kids today is a truly attractive thought!

Going to do some skirting board painting instead - happy weekend guys.

Paula, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's got to be so hard to lose a sibling! :l

Had a very warm, sunny productive day yesterday. Got the pumpkin patch planted, and some more gardening done. This morning I'm going on a weed killing mission! Maybe I will be all caught up before I leave for a week!

Bessie, my family will pretty much done raising sheep before I came along. But I do know for a fact that they do have a somewhat interesting sex organ!!:H:H:H:H:H

Eekkks! I'm the late one. Hubby sick. I had the best fried oysters of my life last night. I'm one of those that does not mind eating alone. Even with Phyllis Diller hair. So I go back downtown for dinner as I know they have fresh soft shelled crabs. Faboulous. I might be able to weasle in a lunch there today. Sweet iced tea is on my program - no beer. I gotta be careful though that I don't slip into tea caffeine and sugar. It is on my radar screen. I acknowledged that when I eyed the empty apple juice container on the counter this AM. But hubbby is the sweet drink king so I have sort of a built-in monitor there. I'd hate to drink it all and feel sheepish! LOL!

Hi guys,

Paula, so sorry for your loss.

I've been having a struggle lately - funny, not binging, but not AF either - just having a couple of beers a night - hard cause it's sunny and warm here and playing ball has made it hard to not have some drinks with the team after. I'm aiming to make June a much better month than May was - and for sure a DF month (drunk free)..........

Aiming for an AF weekend (Sat/Sun).

So so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I lost my beloved cousin, age 36 on 8th May so I have some idea of what you are going through. I'm afraid I did not remain AF through it and am struggling, hoping to get back on track in June. Stay strong and let us know how you are doing.

Paula, my sincerest condolences for the loss of your brother. I hope everyone here can help you when you need it. Too many losses for MWO folk at the moment.

LVT!!!! You've gone and done it now!! When Matthen comes on here (although I think he's in Spain) he will get all overexcited again!! :H:H I have to say I didn't know about the sheep's sex organ!! We just buy them in from the local petting farm, fatten them up and they are all in the freezer by the end of the year so we don't deal with breeding. However we might be keeping some back for breeding next year though so I'll have all that fun to come!!
